Came to Holland for a long weekend and wanted to treat my bride (of 37 yrs) so DC was just the ticket. We stayed in the tulip suite and enjoyed the accommodations very much. Decorated in everything tulip (!) with a vaulted ceiling and bedroom up under the dormers was especially cozy (but not even close to handicap accessible). We...

We stayed one night and got the Tulip Suite. The room was beautiful as well as the rest of the house. The Inn keepers are genuine and wonderful. The breakfast was amazing. Will most definitely stay there again. Price was very reasonable and location was very close to the downtown. Looking forward to my next stay.

This was our first time staying in a Bed and Breakfast and we didn't know what to expect but the Dutch Colonial Inn was immaculate and perfect for us.The home and grounds were beautiful and very relaxing. The delicious breakfast were not ordinary but more compared to fine cuisine and the portions size was more than sufficient. The hosts were helpful with...

The hosts were friendly, attentive and exremely knowledgeable on restaurants and area sights. We found their suggestions to be excellent, and saved us a lot of time researching online, etc. The home is located in a residential area and is too far for a quick walk into town.

This is a very quiet getaway B&B with a wonderful and inviting front porch. The morning held a delicious (huge) breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. The inn keepers are very sweet and accommodating.

Booking the Dutch Colonial Inn was the best thing we could have done for an enjoyable weekend escape to Holland, MI. Bob and Pat were extremely hospitable hosts and their attention to detail was beyond any expectations we could have had. The guest rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The common room was well stocked with bottled water, coffee,...

When planning a visit to Holland Michigan, we recommend that you stay with Pat and Bob Elenbaas at their Dutch Colonial Inn Bed and Breakfast on Central Avenue. They have a nice website. They will make you feel welcome the minute you book with them live over the phone, and when you ring the door bell and walk through the...

My wife and I drove up to Holland, Michigan on a whim, needing to get away for a day or two. We did not make reservations ahead of time and hoped to find someplace nice with a vacancy in the middle of the week. Our GPS suggested Dutch Colonial Inn. When we drove by, we were impressed with the outside...

My husband and I wanted a relaxing weekend away before our first baby arrived and we certainly got it. The Dutch Colonial Inn was a very good choice. We picked the room primarily based on the location and the fact the room had a jacuzzi tub big enough for two. We were nicely greeted by the housekeeper. She was very...

My wife and I stayed for 2 evenings in this amazing bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Jenny Lind Suite. The room had a sitting area with fireplace and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has a stand alone shower and whirlpool tub as well. The breakfast was 3 courses and freshly prepared each morning. The inn is...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Dutch Colonial Inn Bed and Breakfast originated as a family residence. The initial structure, built in 1928, served as a wedding gift for the bride and groom. We offer beautiful guest rooms and elegant suites with king or queen size sleeping accommodations. All rooms have private baths with tiled shower, most with a double jacuzzi tub and fireplace. The inn's wonderful atmosphere is perfect for a honeymoon, anniversary, birthday celebration or just a getaway. Spacious common areas include a delightful wicker-clad sun porch and a living room on the formal side, yet cozy enough to unwind in. Warm weather permitting, the white wooden rockers on the open front porch invite you to relax and rock as the world walks by. Our delicious full breakfast pampers you, yet provides a healthy and hearty homemade feast. Awaken to fresh brewed coffee, the fragrance of homemade muffins, coffeecakes and ham/sausage egg casseroles. Close to beautiful downtown Holland and just a short drive from one of the most beautiful beaches in Michigan. ... more   less
