Clean rooms, great pool, decent breakfast. Only bad thing was that the bar was next door in another hotel. The only way to buy drinks if you wanted to was to go there and walk through the parking lot. Room size was nice.
Our 3 hockey teams stayed at this hotel recently for a tournament at rinks in Holland and Grand Rapids. There were a few other hockey teams staying in this hotel as well so with as many kids as there were, the noise level was relatively...More
We didn't get to enjoy the many extras this hotel has to offer. We were in town for a wedding. It is beautiful, clean, quiet, close to shopping and a great place to stay. The rooms are more than we would expect to pay but...More

Also several restaurants close by. Friendly staff, warm welcome, very clean rooms, great breakfast, lots of free parking, comfy...More
A definite perfect location, helpful and friendly staff, all the specialties of the Express setting with a great pool, exercise room and breakfast setting. I've been here all week and it has all been just what I expect and need when I travel.

According to Google Maps it's about 8 minutes from Holiday Inn Express to Baker Lofts. Since I have only stayed at the Holiday Inn, I cannot say whether other hotels would be better. I have heard from other hockey parents that the Hampton Inn, which is right next door to the Holiday Inn has a cool bar right next to the pool, so if kids are swimming you can have drinks and snacks at the bar. Holiday Inn did not have this, so we brought all of our own food and beverages to the pool area, but the staff supplied us with anything we asked for, such as cups, plates, utensils, etc. It also had an indoor/outdoor hot tub which was a huge hit with the kids. If you do not plan to use the pool with kids or a large group, then this may be a moot point. Holiday Inn is a nice clean hotel with great staff and free breakfast each morning. The 8 minute drive will be easy as Holland should not have much traffic (compared to Chicago, which is where I come from).
