Nicely situated between Harbor Springs and Petoskey, near Lake Michigan and close to Nubs Nob ski resprt as well as Boyne Mountain. Hiking and scenery in the area is great. The B&B itself has a lot of potential but our hosts told us they couldn't do their regular breakfast gig because the kitchen was being remodeled. This was not evident... More

I booked this place back in March for our first year anniversary trip in October due to the AMAZING reviews. Everyone had nice things to say about it and I thought I couldn't go wrong but our experience was quite the contrary. When we arrived Friday night, a younger girl showed us our room(We never did meet an "innkeeper") and... More

What a blessing! This B & B beauty isint limited to its unique rooms and gorgeous separate wine- tasting room / building but the beauty extends to its lovely owners and innkeepers. Who else but Samantha would make you an evening poached egg and toast because you weren't feeling well enough to eat out? And Glen arranged their wine tasting... More

We had a very enjoyable stay! New GM super nice. He's making many changes and upgrades. Excited to see when done. Pros-location, comfort, nice staff, winery in site Cons-the old staff member was moving out so it was confusing, and cluttered with moving van, etc Home a little cluttered, less is more. Grounds/landscape was in process of upgrade, needs it.... More

A fun, quaint experience. The wine tasting was laid back and unique and the breakfast made us feel like kings and queens. Beverly even cooked for us 15 minutes before checkout! ;) This isn't a place to go for an elegant, exquisite night, but if you don't mind "homey" then this is the perfect place for you. We did have... More

We had a delightful two night stay. Our extended family of 8 was pampered by Beverly's hospitality. The grounds are beautiful and the house is charming and immaculate. Breakfast was delicious and snacks were available throughout the day. The winery is a bonus offering a relaxing, quaint atmosphere. We will definitely return!

It's definitely a hideaway (far off the beaten path), yet. In most ways that's about all this B&B has going for it. The decor is 1970s kitsch on steroids. And the breakfast appeared so non-descript that it wasn't worth our while. We are not B&B snobs, but this place does not come close to matching its secluded-location-amidst-a-vineyard potential. Fortunately, it's... More

My husband and I stayed at Highland Hideaway bed and breakfast for two nights. The house is beautifully decorated and our room was beautiful and clean. I have a food allergy and Bev was very accommodating to my needs. There is a winery with a new tasting room. Wines are very good. It is a few miles out of town... More

I stayed here instead of the host hotel for a work conference. I had a wonderful stay, so much included in my stay - for such a low price!! Plus bring attached to a winery is another plus! I will most definitely return.
