My husband and I were looking for a new place to spend the weekend in Michigan close to Three Oaks. We happened upon the Harbert House (luckily). First of all, the accommodations were perfect; the rooms were very clean, the bathrooms beautiful and the common area really nice - much larger than most BBs. Nancy was quite the cook. We...

Great spot! Well located and the owners are very nice and helpful. The breakfast and snacks were wonderful, the owner is a former caterer. I'm still thinking about the delicious morning coffee cake! Rooms are not large, but they are nice and clean.

Delightful stay in the Harbor County area, and so much better than a chain hotel! Nancy is a fantastic innkeeper, host, and cook (chef!). We felt right at home, were very well fed with upscale happy hour treats and gourmet breakfasts, and got great advise on dining options and things to do.

My wife and I stayed here on our "baby-moon" while in the area for a ND football game. It was a great, relaxing getaway, a short drive from South Bend but a million miles for the hustle and bustle of game day. The hosts are friendly and resourceful, and the food was top-notch. Hope to make this our new ND...

A very nice stay. Clean, quiet, new rooms in this B&B. Our hosts were very nice and treated us with a wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed apple and pecan cake, gourmet coffee, whole grain waffles, asparagus wrapped in canadian bacon, and fresh fruit all while dinning in the sunroom. I had brought some fresh garden tomatoes and it was my treat...

I've stayed a few other places in Harbor Country, and they were all good, but this was the BEST. Harbert House B&B has a winning combination of spacious common areas (comfortable and great for relaxing or mingling), gracious and vivacious hostess, wonderful food, good rooms, and special guests (maybe I was just lucky). The location is great for enjoying the...

We went with another couple. They had the Pear room and we had the Old West Room. Both were very nice and clean. The walls must really be thick because we didn't hear any noise from another room. The meals, as other reviewers stated, are phenomenal. Each morning was different. In the late afternoon we were treated to wine and...

The stories about Nancy's culinary skills are all true. What a nice touch! The rooms are charming. But what brought me back for a second visit is that just outside the front door of Harbert House I found some of Michigan's finest bicycling. The roads are well maintained with little vehicular traffic. Tunnels of trees, big trees, overhanging the roadways....

This was our second visit to Harbert House in the last 2 months. We loved it on our first visit and the second time did not disappoint. Nancy is a terrific hostess and her breakfasts are to die for. Before the main course she invited us to have a piece of her homemade coffee cake. Better than any bakery coffee...

My mom, aunt, and I went for a girls' weekend and had a wonderful time. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfasts are gourmet, and the location is convenient. We also liked the porch overlooking the meadow. Nancy is very friendly. We will definitely be back.
