We chanced upon this, walking from Grassington to Hebden. From the outside it just looks like the old school but walk in and you enter a warm, buzzing cafe with lovely staff and gorgeous food. We had tea coffee and cake but we could easily have stayed for lunch. Can't recommend it highly enough.

It was a sunny Sunday afternoon and the place was buzzing..full inside and out. Food excellent and service friendly. Slow service caused my confusion in the kitchen for our neighbours but complimentary tea offered. Good choice on the menu and fabulous, freshly cooked food.

We discovered this converted School house by chance and were really glad that we had. We just wanted a nice little Scone, Cream,Jam and tea and were not disappointed. This is a great place to stay. Martin, Emma and Maggie made us so welcome. The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. We have stayed in a lot of B&Bs and have to say that the breakfast here is the best we have had. Very much recommended.

Visited here twice during a recent weekend staying in nearby Grassington. First time during a walk from Grassington along the river the Hebden and back to Grassington. Had a lovely coffee break and was impressed by the service, staff and the menu - so we decided to go back next day. So had a lovely Sunday lunchtime reading papers, drinking...

Wow what a treat! My husband pre-booked for afternoon tea as a treat for my birthday and we both really enjoyed being looked after by the attentive friendly staff. The food was of a very high standard, delicious finger sandwiches, two warm savoury tarts, crisps and salad, followed by scrumptious cakes, scones, a little trifle in a glass and as...

We found this by accident and what a find. The scones are to die for and the coffee was served in decent sized cups. The prices were very reasonable. Thoroughly recommended. The staff were very friendly and very welcoming. The sun was shining so we were able to sit outside.

In the tiny hamlet of Hebden The Old School Tea Room is a delightful combination of bygone days and warm friendliness. The food ranges from simple, delicious home-made scones to tempting hot meals. A welcoming haven for walkers and a great destination for a trip into the country.

This is a really lovely cafe, run by a super, friendly family, and serving delicious food and drink, including gluten free cakes. Last year, I sampled their blueberry scones, and yesterday I enjoyed a large raspberry macaroon , - forget diets for a day! This is a great place to visit, in a beautiful location,.

Thanks for your review. I'm pleased you enjoyed my raspberry macaroons! They are a fairly new addition to my gluten/dairy free baking after adapting our best selling frangipane recipe. Hope you'll be back next year, if not before!

Called today for late lunch. Everything was really nice. The staff were very pleasant and the food tasted as if it had just been prepared for us. We have been here many times now and it is consistently good. Well done to the owners for keeping a high standard.
