AMAZING Hotel! This is one of the best kept hotels we have ever stayed in when considering all our stays in this hotel bracket (mid-range hotels). It is an independent hotel and the owners really care about their guests and property. Everything was immaculately cleaned. Our room was spacious and had all the basic amenities you would want including fridge with freezer (nice touch to have freezer too!) and microwave.
The front desk staff was amazing. We dealt with multiple people from booking thru checkout, and they were all great! Before arrival I had called to ask about having a room specifically with the couch instead of chairs in it. They went out of their way to physically go check the rooms and called me and said they found one they had assigned to me specifically for our stay. What other hotel staff would do that! Check in was quick and efficient and all our questions were answered. Throughout our stay, day or night, the front desk was quick to help and answer questions.
The breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices to get you going, all fresh, well stocked and kept clean. The breakfast room itself was a nice size and well appointed and I never felt crowded out like you can at some other hotels. They have a nice little restaurant on site that smelled amazing as we exited the hotel one night, but we didn't get a change to try it.
The grounds were landscaped lovely and there was a nice swimming pool, BBQ you could use and even a volleyball court area. There was a well appointed exercise room and a place you could do laundry as well.
The price was very reasonable, and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to everyone. Staying here provided easy access to a bunch of stuff to do in Muskegon or downtown Freemont as well as other surrounding areas.
TWO THUMBS UP!

The facilities clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was very accommodating, we were given a bereavement discount when I made the reservation which was unexpected and very appreciated. We were allowed a late check out as well. The beds were very comfy! The shower had awesome water pressure and the bath products were high quality. The hot breakfast included in the price of the room was surprisingly good. I am obsessed with the fancy pancake machine! Overall it was a very good stay. Thank you to the welcoming staff for their kindness.

The staff are friendly and concerned that your stay is great.
We have been going to Fremont for over 20 years and have stayed at the Harrington on many occasions.
The owners are always updating the facility to add things that they feel will make their customers more comfortable.

We stayed one night while visiting family. The Hotel was very welcoming and my kids said it "smelled so good". I appreciated the complimentary bottle of water and cookies at the front desk. The beds were very soft and comfortable, and the amenities in the bathroom were great!! I love the shampoo and conditioner. The water pressure was nice and powerful and the shower head moved, which is a plus for me!! They kids want to come pack in the summer so we can experience the pool. (We could see it buried in the snow from our room).

I travel alot for work. I can honestly say my two week stay here was one of the best. The bed is comfortable, rooms are clean and spacious. The restaurant was just as great. The staff are all friendly and I was made to feel safe and comfy, which is important to me as a female traveling alone. I would recommend the Harrington Inn to anyone.

We stay there almost every month since we have family in the area. It is a modern appearing inn that provides a great stay. When you check in, they have free, freshly baked cookies. If you are a "regular" they maintain a file to assure that your visit meets your expectations. Things like providing an HTML cable, you prefer shower over tub, Bar--B-Q grills for guests to use, a large pool and lots of power connections for computer junkies like me. There is a popular restaurant, but we have not tried it.

When I need a getaway, or just a break from everyday stressors... I stay here. Always clean, staff are always very helpful, the rroms are just amazing! The beds are comfortable too! They have room service, adult beverages, a restaurant right in the hotel, and breakfast served every morning! The amenities here are great, so if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay, this is the place for you! I promise you won't regret it!

We sold our house and our new home was not quite ready to move into when the moving day came. We purchased some land in Hesperia, Mi and had seen the Harrington Inn on our many drives around the area trying to get a lay of the land we were moving too. When the day came and house not ready the Harrington Inn was our first pick for our stay. Since we did not know when the new home would be ready the owner and staff were there to work with us. They really do make you feel special and part of the Inn family. We stayed from July 16th to July 25, 2020. We have never felt so free to be ourselves and we really did feel like we were VIPs even though there were many other customers . The beds and pillows are "just right". We loved the shampoo/conditioner and body wash containers that are offered from dispensers in the shower. Big soft white towels!! The owner was a very friendly person and the staff was great to be around. We were almost sorry our home was ready for us so soon. Loved staying there and would recommend the Harrington Inn to one and all. You will not be disappointed! The cookies are the best I tasted at any hotel we have stayed at.

Thank you very much for your review of the Harrington Inn and for choosing it during your recent move. We have so many wonderful guests who it is a pleasure to host and we count you among them and we welcome you to this area. It is true that we are small enough to get to know many of our guests and that is the joy of having just 39 rooms (although soon we will be adding a new addition to the hotel). When you drive by in the future, you are welcome to enjoy a cup of coffee and to say "Hello" to our staff again. However, it will be much more fun to have this Covid-19 behind us and handshakes and visible smiles are the normal fare of the day. We hope you get to enjoy this area for a long time.

For us, the check-in process is one of the most important parts of the hotel experience. It really does set the tone for your stay and reflects on the property as a whole. I’m not sure we’ve ever had a better check-in experience than we had at The Harrington.
Both girls behind the desk were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and efficient. They even had freshly baked cookies for the guests and offered to bake us more in whatever flavor we wanted. They set the perfect tone for a great night’s stay!
As far as the room, it was very nice, modern and comfortable and the jacuzzi felt good after a long day of road tripping. We’d highly recommend!

Nancy, thank for asking for information about the Harrington Inn in Fremont. Yes, we do offer discounts to our senior citizens and to other lodging guests such as, military personal, business guests engaged in local projects, medical staff connected with our local hospital, and for individuals here for bereavement. However, whether you qualify for a discount or not, guests often state that our rates are a great value relative to the amenities and service provided. We look forward to having you as a guest in the future.
There are more places to choose from in the Fremont area.
