Hotel Frankfort has a great location with a unique bed & breakfast concept. The individual rooms are a nice touch. We loved the bay view in the loft. Our only negative comments are the condition of the room and unfriendliness of the lady at the front desk. We have never felt so unwelcome in a hotel. The bathroom exhaust fan...

We thank you for your feedback and apologize that your stay was not to your, or our, standards. We are usually highly rated in both friendliness and cleanliness so are disappointed that we failed you on this stay in both. Do, please, give us another chance to prove that this was a one-time occurrence.

Every room is different. Like a B&B; so just know what you're renting. Don't go for 201 for instance; but jump at a chance for 203! Bartender is very good! Sunday Brunch is excellent! A very short walk to the beach, historical homes, shops, and a movie theater across the street! Doesn't get easier than this!

What a treat to have stayed in this Historic Hotel. Beautifully decorated with eclectic furnishings and art. Park your car and enjoy the towns restaurants, shopping and sweet treats. Just two blocks from a nice beach right on Lake Michigan. Clean rooms and Judy the owner is such a lovely women!! Will definitely stay there again and hopefully soon.

Well, I did not book this hotel. My family had rented a house nearby and they surprised us by getting us a room for 2 nights here so we would not have to sleep on the couch. It was a charming, old hotel with lots of nooks and cranies that you wanted to know about. There is great history there,...

Thank you for your kind review. Yes, a few of our bathrooms are not proportional to the room size. Our hotel was built in 1932, 84 years old, so much was added in later years. We're glad we don't have to tell guests that bathrooms are shared or that an out house is out back. :) Again, thank you! It...

Checked in for the last night of our trip. This is an older hotel that has changed hands a few times. The place is nice and clean. Our room had a 2-person hot tub that we enjoyed. We were disappointed that the dining room and bar closed after brunch on Sunday. We enjoyed walking in town and one of the...

We arrived very early (coming in from a sailboat). They were able to accommodate us as an early check-in. We were so grateful! Very nice rooms, nice restaurant, overall a great experience. Location was convenient, shopping along the same street, quaint restaurants along the bay. truly a great find!

Stayed in mid-March 2016 to celebrate my wifes' birthday and our anniversary. Stayed two nights mid-week. Although the restaurant was closed during the off season Frankfort has a lot to offer and made the hotel even more intimate. It is a bit pricey but not really out of line for a specialty hotel. The rooms are all different in style...

The restaurant is clean and fresh. We were the only group in s Friday night in the thick of summer season which is not a good sign. Wait staff was attentive but the food was not good. It was also a pricey dinner for four people reaching over $200. I will not be returning.

Thank you for your review. We are both surprised and sorry that our food was not to your satisfaction. We are also surprised and even more sorry that your server was not aware of your dissatisfaction. Do, please, give us another opportunity to impress you with more than our clean, updated appearance. We look forward to seeing and serving you...

Very quaint location with many shops nearby, including a theater right across the street. Nice clean room, but nothing fancy. The staff was very friendly. The Wifi speed was satisfactory. The price was fair and I would definitely recommend it. We had a great time.

I thought this place was way over-priced for what you get. The location was nice but the hotel itself was old, "up-dated" by adding new duvets to the beds. No elevator, no restaurant (there is one but it was not open), no breakfast. I was glad I had only booked one night there!

Dear Guest, Oh, yes, we are old - an 84-year-old Historic, boutique hotel. Our prices are comparative and competitive with our surroundings for this peak season. I'm sorry you did not notice our many updates besides the new duvets. And I'm sorry you did not have the opportunity to taste the delicious food of our Chef besides the freshly baked...
