Neat and clean and friendly! I had everything I needed in my room. Located in a small town, just down the street from where I was having Thanksgiving dinner. I met another guest who has been there before and loves it.

We spent a weekend at the Lakeshore Inn and it was perfect! The inn was well cared for and in a perfect location. We enjoyed exploring the town and local restaurants. We would not hesitate to return to the Lakeshore Inn!

You can't beat the location if you are visiting Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. It's close to the Empire Bluff Trail, the Visitor Center, and Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive and a very short drive to other areas of the park. The rooms are very basic but more than adequate with flat screen TVs and comfortable beds.

The service is very nice, and room is clean. The location is great, close to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Overall, this town is quite and beautiful in the fall, especially in the foliage peak time. I would like to stay here next time.

We enjoyed our visit so much we stayed two nights! There are a few things we would change but not many. The beds were great and it was very well decorated. There were great restaurants and gift shops within walking distance. The beach was beautiful, and clean, and it had a spectacular view of Sleeping Bear Dunes. I wish we... More

The whole reason for our trip up north was to hike daily. We wanted a nice hotel room to come back to at the end of the day. This was perfect! The room was nice and clean, and the beds were super comfortable. While you can hear an awful lot through the walls, we never had any issues as everyone... More

The Empire Lakeshore Inn is exactly what most people touring scenic areas need at the end of the day-a clean, quiet place to recharge their batteries in preparation for the next day's activities. Its located at the gateway to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore...the park headquarters is about a block away. Quaint towns like Glen Arbor and Frankfort are also... More

Clean rooms, comfy beds, and not big prices, close to Frankfort and Glen Arbor, this is the perfect spot for a one night getaway on M22. We walked down to Joes friendly tavern...perfect spot to spend the night.

This is a quaint little "Old Style" Motel but Two story. Friendly staff, good rooms (those are Full Size Beds, not Queens) and mostly clean. Make sure you get a drain plug for your room and check on the vents in the Bath room. Nicely placed near Sleeping Bear and "downtown Empire". We'll come back.

Clean with friendly service. Not fancy but adequate for our needs. It's a short walk to nice beach where we found Petoskey stones. Very close to bike trail. Small town but a short drive/bike to other towns. Good price.
