The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean but the beds were very bouncy. The free breakfast was adequate but nothing special. It was very quiets. In fact, we felt like we were the only ones there. The pool was too cold to use.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to review our Inn. We appreciate the compliments as well as the criticisms. Letting us know areas we can improve upon is always helpful. We do keep the pool at 84 degrees at all times. This is a Michigan Health Department regulation. Thank you again

Very nice staff, clean property and spacious rooms. A little noisy from the kids running in the hallway. Shower is not designed for 6'3" with the shower head being too low. Overall great hotel and experience, would come back again.

Stayed here for Alma College homecoming weekend. The hotel is quiet and well off the road. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was helpful and gave us a discount coupon to a local restaurant. The breakfast included hot waffles, yogurt, fruit, bagels etc. There were plenty of tables to eat at. Definitely will be back.

Picked this hotel as only decent place to stay in town. edmore is centrally located to the trail a few feet from the parking lot. Open to keeping bikes in the room. Good breakfast good value. Nice staff. Plan on repeat bike rides on wonderful trails

I stayed here for one night en route to a visit to Central Michigan University. The bed was really comfortable, the bathroom was quality, and the table and chairs were nice. I would highly recommend this place and would gladly stay again if in the area.

Stayed here for a family gathering. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. It lacks a few amenities like a fridge and microwave but The Depot deli and restaurant are close enough to walk to. A very quiet place to stay.

My wife and I needed a place to stay and was recommended by my cousin to stay here. Really did not have any expectations just needed a place to stay. When we arrived we were given our room even though we were early. Room, lobby, hallway was very clean. I noticed they had a weight room and was planning on...

Didn't really get to walk throughout the hotel, since it was a quick stay. But the hallways did smell a bit like Marijuana, but not much they could do about that. The room was very roomy and cleaned nicely. There were only two small complaints I had, the smoke alarm would blink a very bright white light every few minutes...you...

We stayed at Maxfield's during the DALMAC 2015 bike tour. I was expecting something ho-hum being in the middle of nowhere and all, but was incredibly surprised at how great the hotel was. They were very friendly to all the bicyclists, even having rag towels for us to use to clean our bikes. They also let us take our bikes...

I've stayed here 4 times now and feel very much at home. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable. The beds give a good night's sleep. The pool, work-out room and guest laundry come in very handy. And the Maxfield's gas station and deli are not only handy, but the food there is freshly...
