I am not sure where to start. The hotel is historical an kept clean for the most part. However, there are many updates and opportunities for improvement. We found it easily, felt comfortable in the area and found it convenient for it's next door location to the New Center One. First, they have only valet parking. My definition of valet...

Ok, so I had to stay here 1 night due to my husband being in the hospital. It was short notice but needed somewhere quick. The sticker shock I got when I pulled up to check in though was a little distressing. They charge $20 Valet service (whether you want it or not), park your car 50 yards away, and...

We stayed at this Hotel as part of a Visit to the Fisher Theater which is literally next Door. The hotel is very reasonably priced and is definitely feeling its age. But the rooms are excellent size and are clean and you can feel the luxury they once had. The Rooms are much more substantial than the typical Budget Bungalows...

We recently stayed at the St Regis hotel for a weekend getaway and to catch some local events. Upon arriving to the hotel, there is $20 valet parking with a fenced in lot, which is nice. However the valet did not know how to drive a manual vehicle, this was for both the night and day guy, which kind of...

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your stay here at the Hotel St. Regis. I apologize for the problems you had in the areas of heat and hot water. We are working on our ability to balance and regulate both systems while we attempt to update them as well. Your comments will be discussed with staff.

To be honest I found this hotel worthwhile for the room rate I paid. It was nice enough inside and the staff were overall good. I prob wont be returning though, and here is why: As someone else mentioned... at $20/night for mandatory valet, it is unnecessary and too expensive. We also had a problem with our tub draining. We...

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your stay here. I am sorry that it was not satisfactory especially since you attempted to resolve the bathroom issue by letting the Front Desk know about the problem. Of course, we are a non-smoking hotel and none of our guests should be subjected to any type of smoke smell....

The Hotel St. Regis is a gem of another era. If you are looking to stay in Detroit and you don't need to be within walking distance of downtown, then The Hotel St. Regis is worth a look. I like it because it is economical (cheaper than most), is close enough to drive/Uber anywhere I need and it is just...

Thank you for staying here at the Hotel St. Regis. It is a hotel that holds a great history in its architecture and the service it provided to General Motors and other businesses in the area. I will pass on your comments to the Restaurant and Kitchen staff as well. We hope to service you again in the future.

I stayed here for 2 nights in Feb 2017. I found the staff serious but helpful. Be careful though with mis-information. The hotel must have been luxurious in its day but is a mere shadow of that now. Beaten up and in dis-repair. Why do they have valet parking when the lot is 10 steps from the front door. The...

I am sorry that your stay was interrupted with issues that no one should have to endure when trying to get a good night's sleep and a lack of politeness in servicing a hotel guest. Your comments will be discussed with the staff. Thank you for your feedback.
