My wife and I stayed there, when we were in town for the Guns N Roses concert. It's a great, historic hotel with nice, clean rooms. Each building is unique. The rooms still have the feel of a historic hotel, but are restored and updated. Location is great, and they offer a free shuttle to take you where you want...

Love-love-love..it doesn't get any better than this. Beautiful accommodations and super friendly staff. I don't think we will ever stay anywhere else when we visit the area. First class all the way. Special thanks to Torrance.

The Inn is beautiful. 4 Victorian homes and a carriage house. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast included, quiche, fresh fruit, yogurt. Coffee and water all day. Main house has a nice front room with a fire and beer and soda to purchase. Safe area close to Kent State. Would definitely stay if in Detroit again.

Detroit is much better than the stories you read would lead you to think. This Inn was very smart, I had a great quiet room on the top floor (but quite a climb with a heavy suitcase for my very fit local buddy!) - and is in a good part of the downtown. But I was out and about so...

The rooms were nice. Staff were very nice & helpful. Breakfast options were ok for a something quick to put in your stomach. If you have mobility problems you may have difficulty here as the rooms are spread across at least 3 different buildings and could be on the 3rd floor. I didn't see any elevators on site. Room service...

I cannot say enough about this beautifully restored group of late 1800 homes that make up The Inn on Ferry Street. It's convenient location and interesting structures in Detroit's culture center - across the street from the Detroit Historical Museum and only a short, one block walk from Detroit's Institute of Arts are fitting given its history and Queen Anne...

Perfect in every way. No other Detroit hotel compares. Beautiful historic buildings, professional staff, shuttle service to area venues and restaurants, excellent breakfast in an elegant dining room. Walking distance to the Detroit Institute of Arts. What more can you ask for? Love it here. We choose Inn on Ferry Street every time we stay overnight in Detroit.

I had a wonderful stay at the Inn. Their staff is extraordinarily friendly (special Kudos to Craig) and the location is just perfect. In case you didn’t know: the Inn offers a complimentary shuttle within a 5-mile radius, which gets you probably everywhere you want to go in Detroit. My room was in the neighboring building, another lovely house. It...

I went To Detroit for a residency interview and the program I interviewed for made accommodations for us at this inn. It was a very quaint, clean place. The location was nice and safe, and there were restaurants, a CVS, and a few gas stations within in close proximity. The breakfast they serve is very good. They even leave a...

Nice hotel, felt like a comfy home with a hearty breakfast. Close to the heart of the city. The Inn is a series of houses that have been restored to reflect the original old-fashioned look, yet offers modern amenities. The hotel is close to the waterfront & the Ford Piquette Auto Plant.
