Crown Promenade Perth is lauded for its strategic location, providing guests with easy access to business districts, city exploration, and adjacent Casino entertainment. Despite receiving praise for clean and comfy rooms, some visitors have encountered lapses in housekeeping. The hotel's amenities, while comfortable, have drawn criticism for absent services such as daily room cleaning and poolside assistance. While the atmosphere is generally appreciated, opinions on value for money and service quality vary, with several guests deeming it overpriced and expressing dissatisfaction with staff interactions. The rooms themselves prompt a divided response regarding their upkeep and style.

Stayed in Room 508 for one night in Sept 2024. Spacious king room with clean and comfortable bed. View of the carpark - (free parking available just across the road). Friendly reception. Usual amenities. Communal soap/shampoo/lotions in the bathroom. Plenty of towels. Quiet location. Slept well.

My stay at the Crown Promenade was an enjoyable one. A comfortable room with great in room dining options available meant I didn’t need to venture out during the heat wave.

All the staff were friendly & welcoming, from reception to the housekeeping staff & those in the restaurant.

The buffet breakfast provided great options that would ensure anyone can have something delicious & filling. The only let down was the time it took to check in for breakfast. As a lot of people stay here for work purposes the restaurant does get busy when it opens at 6:30. But once in, finding a seat & getting what you need is easy.

Situated in nice parklands & close to Optus stadium, be sure to take a walk & enjoy the foreshore.

There is a free car park on-site which meant I didn’t have unsightly parking fees for the week I stayed here. It was refreshing to not have to pay exorbitant parking that you are forced to pay at so many hotels.

I would highly recommend this hotel & will stay there again when I am in Perth next.

These rooms are nice and it’s good to be close to main part of crown. But- there’s no housekeeping unless you request it. There’s no food or drink service by the pool- you can’t order room service in your room and eat or drink by the pool? The hotel restaurant is not open for breakfast most mornings so your only option is to pay for an expensive buffet at towers or Metropol. It’s just lacking standard services like daily housekeeping, pool service, breakfast ( although that might be on offer through room service) that most other hotels offer. Disappointing given the price point- there are other great hotels in Perth that cost a lot less but include these- I would not recommend

Stayed for 3 nights, room was ok overlooking the casino, check in the receptionist advised we only had one person for one breakfast booked when in fact it was booked for 2 with 3 breakfasts. She told us to check with breakfast staff in the morning. there was no issue but this had caused undue stress on check in. Breakfast served 6am to 10am as we had arrived very early hours in the morning we were still finishing breakfast at quarter to 10am as were many people, the breakfast manger was telling everyone that they were shutting at 10am they started clearing everything away at 5 to 10am never had such an experience at any other hotel ever. On one of the afternoons when it was 38 degrees outside we were told we would have to drink our drinks we had purchased from the bar outside as there was no where to sit inside! Would never stay at this hotel again or recommend anyone else. Pretentious and doesn’t deliver what a 4* hotel should be delivering.

This hotel measures their clients worth by the depth of their wallets.
$5 for a small water which should be complimentary in every room and the same price for a small coke !
The food is totally bland in the ground floor restaurant and whatever you do, do not attempt to take any undrunk wine up to your room when the restaurant closes and you’re still at your table.
Hotel security will jump on you in an instant !
Doesn’t matter if you’re 63, sober and responsible you will be treated like a child .You cannot take any alcohol up to your room if it’s opened, this despite having copious amounts of it in your mini bar.
Also, the staff aren’t bright enough to offer any assistance in taking your opened wine from the restaurant to your room either.
The hotel is in need of a total make over, staff and attitude included.
Do yourselves a favour, stay in the Hilton Double Tree by the ferry wharf, it’s everything this dump isn’t.

This property suited my needs for location as I was there for business. Free parking a short walk away saved $75 a night valet parking. I thought the property a little tired, lift out of order and sag in lounge. I didn't like all the housekeeping stuff out all the time on the floor. Large black containers and trolleys. I had some cleaning stuff left in the room and having to leave a sign on the door for the room to be serviced was.... Only minor stuff really. Price was exceptional (during the week) and better than many hotels and motels. Food in the precinct generally dear, but also at some locations outstanding.

Appalling service from the reception at the Promenade. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed which made us arrive at the hotel around 2AM so we were hoping for a smooth check in because next morning we had a very important business meeting. However, the front desk lady was the rudest person I have ever encountered. It seems that even though you book a specific room the chances are low of getting what you had booked for. We had booked a twin superior room due to the reason I was travelling with my father who is disabled with health issues and needs help. The receptionist kept saying that room wasn't available, and the only option was a king bed bedroom which we were uncomfortable with. When we would tell her that this was unacceptable, she started shouting at us and being exceptionally rude. I was the one that had to suggest an upgrade since she wouldn't come up with any solution! Finally, we felt kicked out and were moved to the Crown Metropol where I have to say the receptionist there was lovely and made the check in quick and easy.

3 of us decided to stay the night as was attending a show. Stayed in the standard King/twin suite.
Was a nice room. Clean and everything we needed.
As it was a Sunday we got the "sneaky Sunday" special which made it perfect.
The standout was the porters who came to our car and took our luggage to our rooms and also when we left. Very friendly and everything was efficient and nothing was to hard for them.
Check in/out was easy and also had a complementary bottle of bubbles on arrival.
1st time for my 82 year old mum staying somewhere "Flash" and she felt very special.
Will defiantly think about staying again next time we attend a show as made it so much easier just to walk next door.

Great budget friendly hotel, when comparing to Metropol and Towers, you do not miss much at all. Comfortable room, relaxing bed, soft pillows make for a good night's rest. Staff are friendly and efficient. Vallet staff are very quick at greeting you and opening your doors for you.

Bonus is, they have wheelchair accessible rooms. Roll in shower, basin that you can wheel under, toilet at an appropriate height etc. Bed is roughly 55cm high give or take. Valet parking is free if you have a disabled ACROD parking permit.

Have stayed multiple times, and will continue to do so.

Gouging customers at every possible opportunity. Room cost at least triple the rack rate but couldn’t even manage to change our sheets and towels or replenish milk coffee and minibar. Shower function was unacceptable for pressure and consistency of temperature. Restrictions applied to tv also shows that paying extra is the primary Crown objective. I don’t mind paying more for top class accommodation but this certainly doesn’t apply to this establishment.
