We have stayed at the Fanny Hoe Resort twice now. We have attempted to stay other places in Copper Harbor just to change the experience, but find ourselves back at Fanny Hoe because the service is excellent. The resort (please don't be confused by the word "resort" if you are not a yooper) is dated (as per usual for the...

We stayed at the motel on Lake Fanny Hooe. Rooms are large with individual balconies overlooking the lake. Old rooms but very clean with kitchenettes. The grounds were clean with beach right out your front door.

We called at the last minute for reservations and were accommodated nicely. The staff was very nice, the laundry clean and the grounds immaculate. We found the camping enjoyable and would definitely return. My only concern was that the fire pits were too close to the RV sites for our comfort. My teens also tried hanging their hammocks which are...

Excellent campground in walking distance to town and its general store, local craft shops, restaurants and ice cream. On Lake Fanny Hooe, good for family swimming and kayaking, and warmer than Lake superior. Large camping spots with an adequate playground, clean restrooms and laundry, a good mix of sun and shade. The staff was very helpful and polite. Adults and...

This is a lovely area Unfortunately there are not a lot of choices for camping in a motor home We were given a VERY narrow space where we could barely get our slides out. The sites are arranged so that we had to pull in and so our door faced the door of the travel trailer in the next site...

The lady who runs this place is RUDE!! She cancelled our reservations on us because someone who was going to visit us there questioned their visitor policy. She BLEW UP and called us to cancel our 3 night visit!! We called her back to discuss and she hung up on us. Left us scrambling to make reservations elsewhere during a...

This resort is clean, quiet and in a great location. There is a sandy beach to swim at as well as boat rentals which are perfect for fishing! We camped in a tent and had a great site to enjoy family time around the fire. Was told one tent per site (which was fine with us) when I made the...

There are so many nice and caring people in the Copper Country, but the owners of Lake Fanny Hooe Resort are NOT some of them. They will nickel and dime you for everything and do not care whether you have a pleasant time or not. The owners are very rude and have many rules and extra fees for everything. There...

Just visited Lake Fanny Hooe Resort in June and had a great time! We have been coming there for many years and enjoy the campground (very clean with a variety of sites) and have stayed at the motel (beautiful views of the lake and hills around lake Fanny Hooe). Great base camp to enjoy the many wonders of the Copper...
