Had a wonderful time staying at the lodge. We were there for 3 nights visiting family in the area. The staff was warm and welcoming. Their dog was great with my toddler. My family just returned from our stay yesterday 7-30-12. We stayed in their bunk house which the kids loved because its just that, one room with 7 beds lined up. We had a great experience this past weekend at the Black Mountain Lodge. Paula (Owner) and Wally (Operations Manager) go out of their way to make your stay positive and enjoyable. This is a typical lets move up north and retire business. From the “Operations Manager” down this place needs work. The owner is a very nice woman who I believe is trying her best but is lost trying to find the identity of the business.
