Michael and Scott did a wonderful job welcoming my wife and I and making us feel like we were guests in their home. I have a dietary restriction (wheat allergy) and had some of the best breads, cookies, and muffins in years. Michael and Scott went above and beyond making our stay extra special. The extra touches were especially nice...

We spent 2 nights at Grey Gables & LOVED our experience. Michael & Scotty (the innkeepers) were so helpful! They gave us great recommendations for places to eat & see. Michael even called to get us a tee time at a local golf course. They went above & beyond our expectations. The wine & cheese at 5pm every night was...

Mostly positive...incredible gourmet breakfasts that were delicious and beautifully presented. High quality bedding and linens...very clean, great attention to detail. The inn itself needs a bit of improvement. The paint is peeling at the front door, the carpeting is worn out and soiled. Michael and Scott are culinary genuises and very accommodating. The inn is an easy walk to Charlevoix.

Carol and I hadn't been Up North for more than two decades and we decided that as Detroit-area residents, we would support the Michigan economy this summer ... and our 3-night stay at the Inn at Grey Gables reinforced our decision. As others have noted, Michael and Scott were wonderful hosts. We had originally planned to use Traverse City or...

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay over Memorial Day weekend. Michael and Scott were superb innkeepers and went above and beyond when they retrieved my friend's diamond earring from the trap in the sink. Their meals were delicious! We could walk to Main street Charlevoix from the Inn. I would return for sure :)

We Traveled from 4 hours away to stay here.. It was well worth the trip North.. We were greeted by two of the nicest guys who helped us with our bags and made us feel as if we were their only guests.. The Inn is an older home with all the charm and atmosphere of an old house.. The Inn...

We didn't actually stay here just ate at the restaurant which was absolutly excellent!!!! Until this visit we beleived fine dining to be imposible to find in america but this place restored our faith. It is on the pricy side but well worth it - the service is excellent and the setting lovely. The food was to die for and...

It was the first experience at a Bed & Breakfast for my wife (...of 33 years) and I. The Innkeepers were delightful, and we felt pampered with the wine and cheese afternoon 'happy hour', as well as a very tasty breakfast the next morning. The room was peaceful and we had a great overnight get-a-way.

Great B&B --- Mike & Mookie were the quintessential hosts for a bed and breakfast. The service was spectacular and their breakfasts literally were five star. When our plans fell through for the weekend they researched us alternative ideas without even being prompted. Wine and cheese hour was one of our favorite parts of the trip -- We stayed in...
