Wish I had taken the time to check reviews; this place was very strangely run. The house itself was lovely and quaint but the two couples in our party were the only ones staying there (midweek). Early in the day of our arrival we received a phone call from the innkeeper telling us that her husband's aunt was in the...

I wish I would have read the reviews before paying well over $200.00 a night for this place. NO breakfast as promised, never saw the owners at all - they left a note at the front door saying they were unavailable, had downstairs bedroom and a note was left stating do not run the hair dryer if the air conditioner...

Dont stay here!!! Great location. Worse house n beautiful neighborhood. Short walk to downtown charlevoix. It is not related to restaurant next door. Peach and Kelly green carpet from 70s. Could not use room shower as it was extremely small and had a curtain. Went to newer shower down hall and gap n shower door leaked water. Hey at least...

We stayed here for 3 nights for a mini-vacation over Labor Day weekend. I give the property 2 stars because the location was great, and Mark & Kate (the hosts) were nice though we didn't see much of them. Other aspects were very disappointing. The website advertises "Plush bathrobes. Luxurious amenities..", and "Hot dishes such as quiche or apple cinnamon...

Mark and his wife were wonderful hosts at this quaint and inviting inn set on a quiet side street within walking distance to town. Set in the trees with a big front porch with wicker furniture for relaxing, this inn was comfortable, clean and charming. Our room was clean and spacious, and the beds/pillows comfortable. Every morning we had a...

We loved staying in this very historic and charming b&b, well located for walking and managed by a very attractive, attentive and welcoming couple, Mark and Kate! Delicious breakfast as well! It was extremely quiet and relaxing, very comfortable bedroom. We would happily return! I

We stayed here for two nights. The location is great - five minute walk to town and in a wonderful area to wander. The inn itself is clean but "tired". Breakfast was cooked individually and so was nice and hot. But the fare was very basic: omelet with american cheese, breakfast meat of some sort, coffee and juice. Or, scrambled...

Kate and Mark have only been running this place for 3 weeks but they know how to be attentive, but not overbearing, with their guests. The wine and cheese in the evenings gives you a relaxed opportunity to meet fellow guests......our first night we met people that know friends of ours!! And we convinced Mark to give us an impromptu...

This property has an enviable location in the heart of town right next door to the Grey Gables Inn Restaurant. The new managers Mark and Kate are wonderful, friendly hosts who do their best to accommodate guest requests. The old house is surrounded by flowers and has plentiful parking in the rear. There are 7 guest rooms each decorated in...

This is a great place to stay if you plan to do anything downtown Charlevoix because it's only a short walk. What I liked about this B&B was the hospitality. In the evenings they offer a complementary wine, meat and cheese bar (and it's so good we didn't even end up going to dinner after, which probably saved us $60),...
