Horrible. The rooms need UPDATED badly. The heat would NOT shut off. It was 79 in the room when we arrived and we could not get it to shut off. We turned it down as low as it would go. we first opened the window to get it cooled off in the room. It was aprox 31 outside at that...

This is your basic, vintage motel which still uses actual metal keys to access the room. Room was small, with tiny bathroom. But we just needed a bed for the night on our way up north, and this was just fine. On the plus side, the room had a decent TV, microwave, and fridge. Good amenities for the price. The...

Thermostat on the wall failed to do anything. One of those programmable weekly ones, didn't raise the temperature even as designed. No switches anywhere, 50 degrees outside, but the AC worked. Bar of soap still in the shower open and on the floor when we checked in. But, by turning the shower to Hot and leaving the door open we...

I could not even sit in this room more than 5 minutes without my eyes burning!! A serious issue that should be checked on by the health department!! AND they wouldn't give us our money baby we stayed at the Hampton Inn

We were sadly disappointed to pay $90+ for a room with a small "queen" bed. We could have lived with the bed for one night, but when we walked in the room it reeked of strong smells. Not sure if it was just old, moisture, cigarettes, pets or what. Bathroom was tiny, shower had blackened grout in floor tile, paint...

You know that marsh/sulfur type smell? I didn't notice it until I got in the shower. So if you go, use lots of fragrance on yourself. I could barely stand myself during the ride home. I picked the wrong day to be there because apparently there was a bad thunderstorm a day before. No wi-fi. Not a biggy, just saying....

The people who run the place are very friendly and accommodating. While the rooms are a little bit dated, they are clean and well kept. The bathrooms have old tile from the 30's, 40's or 50"s and are in excellent shape and we "love that old school charm."" Our visit was to ski at Caberfae Ski area (another place we...

Laid back motel, just next to Lake Mitchell & Lakeside Charlie's Rest.Pleasant stay fior overnight, friendly desk guy is a plus. Clean & comfy bed is all we need. Few good restaurants & farmers market around closeby. Good place to stay for fishing.

The property is a bit old, but the rooms are clean. And while there are things to be done around the place, they are fixing things as they go. Very friendly staff with good morning coffee. Rooms small, clean, generally quiet. Good food nearby. I come to Cadillac every year for a week, and I have stayed in four different...

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the staff were super friendly. Walking out in the morning, we saw the lake and enjoyed the view. We were only in for the night and out quickly in the morning (traveling north), but we enjoyed our short stay and appreciated the amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee pot) in the room, and appreciated the...
