We're about 20 minutes outside of Grand Rapids proper. This is a quiet sweet park with lots of grass and lots of trees. They just took down at least a dozen trees with a little limbs. I think this is an RV resort, they advertise a lots of activities for children.

We have stayed at the Woodchip Campground two years in a row during the Midwest United Cup Soccer Tournament. The campground has full hook ups, and a lot of fun stuff for the kids to do, all reasonably priced. The sites are not super wide, but there is room to open your awning and to have a campfire. Our girls-...

Private campsite quiet in the back by trees, level paved roads, close to visit family in area and go to beaches like Grand Haven. Pleasant to walk around after meals. Also can enjoy roasting marshmallows for smores over campfire.

My wife and kids (6 and 3) spend a week in Michigan each summer visiting family in Byron Center. In the past we have rented cabins on Gun Lake. This year we waited too long and the cabins were booked but we found the Woodchip rented campers for 2/3 of the price. Sleeping with four in a camper for a...

Come to the Grand Rapids area to visit friends. Just stayed one night, but found the campgrounds to be very clean and nice. Lots of things for the kids to do which is good so they sleep well at night. Some of the spots are not very level but we made do. I would return.

We were pleasantly surprised with Woodchip Campground. It is conveniently located to visit Grand Rapids attractions which is why we stayed there. We had full hook up. The site was not tight nor was it large. There was a nice wooden deck that could be pulled close to the 5th wheel steps with a picnic table. The campground was nice...

We travel in a motorhome & find the Woodchip a good place to camp year round. We have family in the area so we visit a couple times a year & stay at the Woodchip Campground. It's a very friendly place with fair prices. We recommend this campground.

The Woodchip Campground owners have continually reinvested their profits to make the campground more user-friendly over the years and it shows! We've been coming to visit family in the Grand Rapids area for several years & each year there have been more improvements and additions. This year, the best (& probably most expensive!) improvement was paving the campground roads. There...

This is one of the best camping spots in the Greater Grand Rapids area. Lots of fun activities for the kids! Jumping Pillow, Gaga Ball, Foam machine with huge slip n slide, 18ft inflatable slide, bounce house and so much more. Free Root beer floats on Saturdays, Free Sundaes with all the fixin's on Sunday of a Holiday weekend! Glow...
