Intimate and immaculate, the Red Moose is a small bucolic motel beside the Pere Marquette river, where you can stroll through a trim garden to sit on a riverbank swing with your morning beverage, listen to Nature and watch the kayakers, canoeists and fishermen ply the waters. Live-in owners Debbie and Clint represent what most of us imagine motel owners...

Beautiful setting, room was up to date, comfortable bed. Have a nice walkway down to the creek that flows by, can even set in the wooden swing! Very attractive setting and they had an outdoor hot tub for guests to use too. Would stay again and recommend this place.

The Red Moose Lodge is immaculate from the grounds to the rooms. We had the most relaxing weekend. We had the King Bed room with a view of the river it was just beautiful. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. We especially loved their watchdog Rose the Westie! You can't go wrong staying here. :)

You are definitely allowed an opinion and are also welcome to post this review. We would ask though that you place honest statements within that review. We did contact you to get an ETA on your arrival. It was getting late and we had not heard anything from you. We did not tell you that we wanted to go home...

Called RML on my way north to fish the PM. Owner said he had a room but it was way more than the small, single room I needed so he reserved the room for me at the single-room rate!! Room was large and, as usual, the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. I mean these nice little rooms are...

This property is situated above a few feet of Pere-Marquette River access. The rooms are cute & decorated with a 'moose' theme. The shower was great, the rooms and property are very clean. A continental breakfast is available consisting of individual-size boxes of cereal, some shared Entenmann coffee cakes, coffee & tea. We opted to have breakfast at a nearby...

A group of us stayed at the house that Red Moose Lodge offers for our weekend ATV trip. There are three separate bedrooms with two full bathrooms (one in the master bedroom). The house is very clean and spacious. They supplied the towels, dishes, blankets, etc. There isn't great cell phone reception, but that didn't bother us too much since...

Just came home from three days at the Red Moose Inn in Baldwin Mi. I have been using this fine motel for almost ten years and our experiences just get better. Fishing wasn't good but as usual Debbie and Clint had the Inn in great shape. A great place to stay if your in the Baldwin area.

The Red Moose Lodge is small with a small yard that goes down to the river. The room was immaculate and decorated so cutely. We enjoyed sitting by the river after check in, but the owner was mowing and using an edger for a couple hours after 5 PM on a Friday night - irritating noise for us as well...
