The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, funny and great cooks! Cabin was somewhat dated, but very up north cottage feel as you would expect. Memorable experience with the family and would do it all over again!

My group and I recently stayed at the river house and had two days of fishing with some excellent guides. The reason for my email is to congratulate and highlight one of your employees - Corey. Corey called well in advance of our trip to schedule our start time which helped us plan our arrival time at the lodge. In...

We just completed our 3rd annual fishing trip at Pere Marquette River Lodge this past weekend with another couple. The entire staff is friendly/helpful and the lodge/grounds are very well maintained. We especially loved the new bed linens and updated fire pit with Adirondack chairs. The day of fishing on the river was wonderful and our guides (Frank and Uber)...

I went up to the Pere Marquette River Lodge to attend an Orvis sponsored fly fishing class in early July. I had a great time. Met new friends in the class and had an excellent guide and teacher in Brad Turner. Everyone associated with the Lodge and fly shop were so friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my time fishing...

My father and I went up to the Pere Marquette River Lodge for an Orvis class trip, and loved every minute of it! The lodging was very comfortable, and the staff were superb. I went out on a float trip with guide Chris "Uber" Raines, and he put me on some fish in some of the most scenic areas of...

A late entry...Girls away Mother's day weekend so my 16 year old son and I spent an afternoon and evening with Frank. We are both relative beginners and appreciated Frank's excellent instruction on various fly fishing techniques. He was beyond patient with our frequent mistakes and errant casts. We tried for a few straggler steelhead, some big browns, and went...

Staff was nice and accommodating but the cabin was buggy, outdoor grille was missing, and the window screens are in need of repair. My wife and I booked an 8 hour guided float and did not hook into any fish the only fish we caught was on our own the next day. Disappointed

Visited Pere Marquette River Lodge with my son on Fathers Day weekend. Stayed at the lodge for 3 nights. Comfortable accommodations. Very nice common areas with cozy furniture. Free coffee and wifi. Well staffed and well supplied fly shop next door. Great advice from knowledgeable fishermen. Dinner at Barski's and lunch at Dave's Riverside both excellent. Two guide trips with...

We stayed in one of the cabins. It was great, had everything we needed for a week on the river. Did a full day guided trip with Frank. Awesome experience. Fished from 4pm to 1am. Caught steelhead and brown trout. Meal provided on the river. Well worth a visit.

Had the pleasure of being guided down the Pere Marquette River fly-fishing by Chris "Uber" Raines. Hands down best guide ever! I would rate my experience with him 6 stars out of 5 if it were possible. Great guy, very personable with extreme knowledge and expertise with all things fishing. I would highly encourage anyone interested in fly-fishing to do...
