In the area for work, unfortunately no time to fish. However, their store was first class, with all the right gear at the right price. The lodge was very comfortable with everything a person would need at the end of a long day on the river.

The salmon were running and the fishing was great. While you probably can't go wrong with any of the guides on the river, Frank and Kyle from the PM Lodge were awesome. They not only knew where and how to find the fish, but ran a really fun day... lots of fish, lots of laughs and a grilled steak lunch....

We came home from a long day on the river to fireworks which started at midnight and went to 1:30. The band that was playing till 2 am wasn't keeping us from sleep even though I don't think this was the venue. I had to sign a sheet when checking in about quiet times what a joke that was. The...

Room was nice, older fixtures in the bathroom showing their age but clean, well kept and new bed. Great main room in the lodge. Nice views, great staff, awesome location, plenty of parking. Good fly shop on site. Quick access to ATV trails. We'll stay there again.

Brought my mother here for a long weekend of fly fishing for Steelhead. The lodge is a great fishing lodge - not too many frills - but the roaring fireplace goes a long way to restore you after a long day on the river. The lodge owners are great - super friendly and helpful, no matter your experience or age....

My wife and I wanted to do a fly rod float trip on the PM for spring steelhead with a guide. Both of us are novice fly fisherman. From past experience, I knew of the lodge's location and fly shop. We spent two nights at the lodge and floated the river with Frank Willetts, owner and guide, on his hand...

We needed to learn more about Winter Steelheading. Contacting the Pere Marquette River Lodge was our plan. Learn from the best. Frank was our guide for the day. We had a great day, hooking up a big Steely in our first hole! We learned a ton from Frank, his patients, teaching techniques and knowledge. I would highly recommend using the...

I booked a guided trip for early December after calling and being assured that the Salmon Run was still going strong. This is a great old lodge, "up north" as they say in Michigan on the Pere Marquette, or PM. My guide, Chris, was very knowledgeable (funny thing, he goes by the nickname "Uber," which is German for "about." I'm...

My buddy and I spent a couple nights at the lodge in late October, and it was a wonderful experience. The lodge is completely set up for the fly fisherman, complete with an area to clean your waders and then dry them. The room was very clean, and my bed was extremely comfortable. We also took a guided trip with...
