I stayed at the Proctor for four nights last week. Wrentham is small, quiet and beautiful, especially with a dusting of snow, but there are excellent restaurants just across the common, and others are easy driving distance. I was there for research at the town library, but my sister and niece drove in for a lovely day and night together.... More

We came out for a 30th High school reunion. It was just minutes away from the venue. We were welcomed with open arms and felt 'at home'. Built in the 1800's, this inn has so much character and historical ambiance. We lounged in one of the living rooms, went to the reunion, and then had a delicious home made breakfast... More

The walls are alive with history in this beautiful Inn. The staff are very nice and accomidating. The rooms are tastefully decorated. I got the opportunity to speak with the owner and got some great historical stories about the inn. So for a nice relaxing stay with a little bit of cool history, I highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I needed a place to stay for one night as we were dropping off our son at boarding school. Originally we were planning to stay downtown but couldn't find a room since every hotel was sold out due to the Patriots opening game. Fortunately we found the Proctor Mansion Inn through bedandbreakfast.com and read reviews on Trip... More

Fabulous. The history here is unsurpassed. The owner is very knowledgeable and loves to explain in detail the history of the house. We were in town for a memorial service. In free time we walked to the beautiful historic graveyard across the street and explored the historical society as well. We ate in town and drove to Boston for tours.

This place was a real treat in that it is a work in progress to make it truly authentic. What they have done so far is noteworthy in that you have to appreciate that eventually it will be totally incredible. When you drive up you are blown away of the beauty of the place. It has three floors, straight up... More

Favorite part of the stay was the house itself, remarkably preserved in its original state after much TLC by Brian, the knowledgeable owner. Nice location for our purposes: 45 minutes from Lexington and Concord, Cape Cod and Plymouth, which were our tourist destination. Enjoyed learning of its past and inspecting each room. We stayed in the Peach Room, which was... More

After reading such positive reviews, I chose to stay at the Proctor Mansion Inn during a business trip. The staff was warm and friendly, however, I was disappointed in the physical aspects of the Inn. The stairs and porch leading up to the entrance were in need of repair and paint. The staircase up the rooms looked unfinished. While in... More

My Mum and I stayed here for one night recently. As the name suggests, this is an old mansion just steeped in history. The staff are its best asset. They were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and the setting in the dining room really helped set a relaxing atmosphere. The room we stayed in was full of character. Four... More

The Inn has been lovingly restored by Brian and Dawn, the owners and historians. There are so many interesting and unique details throughout the building. The 4 rooms on the second floor are all tastefully decorated with authentic antiques and the beds are Perfect. On the third floor, rooms are cozy and also comfortable. The views to Wrentham Common are... More
