My husband and I just stayed here for 2 nights for our son’s graduation from Williams College. The location and price were right; although the motel was not fancy, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot! What else do you need, right? The owners were welcoming and accommodating. I would stay there again.
This is the worst Motel I’ve ever stayed in! It was disgusting! Bottles, trash and Cigarettes under the bed and burnt Cigarettes holes on the bed sheets in a non-smoking room! Also mold, trash and hair all over the bathroom! The room and bed sheets smelled liked moled, cigarettes and was in extremely poor condition! The bathroom was disgusting and extremely dirty! I reserved the room for two nights and left after the first night of how disgusting the room was! And I did not get a refund for the second night after only staying one night! For over charging $100 per night I’m extremely upset and disappointed! I didn’t even sleep on the bed because I was afraid if there was bed bugs! I had to sleep on the chair! The motel needs to be closed for business and the building needs to be knocked down and rebuilt with a new owner and management! I have plenty of photos and videos to prove how disgusting this motel is! With the COVID-19 pandemic I can guarantee the room was not cleaned or sanitized!…
The management goes out of their way to be helpful. I stay here when visiting my son at Williams. Why pay more? Rooms are clean and Williams College is a walk across the street. Clark Art Institute is within walking distance
Only a day before, my partner and I paid $60 more to stay at the Revolution Hotel in Boston. Just knowing that, I think Northside is way overpriced for the low motel quality it provides. - When we walked in, the room smells dusty / moldy (definitely have not been aired out) - A few of the towels provided had yellow stains on them - The bathtub drain was clogged and water would fill up during a shower - There was no clear indication that the they had safe cleaning protocols in consideration for COVID. If you're just looking for a place to sleep for one night, this can pass. But if you're looking to spend some time to rest with a partner / friend after exploring the city, I don't recommend it.
This hotel is extremely outdated and in need of updates. It just didn't feel clean and the bedding didn't look clean. The bed skirt was ripped at one corner with brown stains on it. The floor was super creaky and you could hear it creaking from above too. The chairs outside our room on the balcony were upholstered and not meant to be outside, so they looked dirty and we did not feel comfortable sitting in them. Thankfully we only stayed one night. Other than the convenient location I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
