Wonderful mellow weekend stay, with delicious breakfast, quiet rooms, and beautiful grounds. Loved the dogs. Easy ride to museums and restaurants. Would be a great place for a nordic ski weekend! Thanks, Dan!

Beautiful setting. Acres of meadow, forest and orchards. White sand beach at a large spring fed pond. Our gracious host, Dan Gangemi, is a professional landscaper and an excellent chef. Bountiful breakfasts. See the morning mist roll in over the apple trees.

From the high quality of the website to our actual visit, it was first class all the way. Dan, the owner, greeted us with his two dogs, and welcomed us warmly. We had the largest of his three rooms on the second floor: The king bedded room with jacuzzi and full private bath. We immediately went to the pond for...

My husband and I had an incredible experience here this past weekend. Dan is the innkeeper and his dogs, Emma Jean and Hazel helped to host as well! It is small with only 3 rooms in a house, so gave it an intimate feel. The property is beautiful with a pond (that the dogs will happily lead you to!) with...

If you are looking for a getaway, I encourage you to check out The Birches and rent the King Deluxe Bedroom. My partner and I stayed here Valentine's day weekend and we have no complaints! It was my first time visiting the area, so I did a lot of research in advance comparing various housing options. It's not the most...

My fiancee and I had an amazing stay at The Birches. The propietor, Dan, is so engaging and friendly. And his labs, Hazel Mae and Emma Jean, were great company on our walks around his grounds. There is a nice spring-fed pond, with some nearby trails, and apple and pear trees. It is situated on a hill 5 min outside...

Just a mile from the center of Williamstown, this wonderful property on 50 acres is beautiful. There is a spring-fed pond, a cider mill, a ton of apple trees and 3 terrific hosts (2 of them have tails). The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast creative and delicious. There is also a plethora of hiking books and...

Aside from home, the most comfortable, easy-going, and beautiful accommodations we've ever had. Great room, great food, great dogs (they made it even harder to leave), and Dan is the perfect host-always looking to make the stay as low key and restful as you'd want it to be. The other guests were friendly and interesting, making breakfast conversation an added...

Beautiful quiet setting on a hill in Williamstown. Rustic, unique house surrounded by wild life and landscaping. We were treated to a heavy rainstorm complete with some thunder. Slept very well. Dan was a gracious host who made a fabulous breakfast. Grilled pineapple with yogurt and nuts started the feast. That was followed by an individual puff pastry filled with...
