The rooms were very nice and it felt more like a really nice guest room at a friend's house than an old stale motel room. The gentleman at the front desk was super nice and very helpful. I will definitely be staying there again. I have to mention the coffee. It is absolutely excellent. If you are offered some I highly suggest having a cup or two.
The room was clean, very large, and had twin Queen beds. We stayed for three nights and did not have any problems. The staff were very accommodating and great to work with. The only minor problems that we had were that it would have been nice to pick up a quick breakfast in the lobby but none was provided. The other issue is none of the rooms are handicapped accessible. We were able to get around both of those issues without much difficulty. If I end up going back to Cape Cod, I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again.
We were here not for vacation but my husband travels for work and it is so difficult finding short term rentals with a kitchen and my ESA dog. Found the Inn at Swan River and we were there for a little over a month. Lois and Nippon are fantastic people and very easy to talk to. The grounds are beautiful it’s like a botanical garden out back with a fire pit and seating. No problems with the room and I’m told they are renovating the bathrooms this winter. They do need updating but they are still functional. The only cons are not with the Inn but the people who stay here, some smoke in their rooms which is not allowed and some dog owners did not pick up after their dogs. Overall I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed during a long weekend with a group of friends. We booked last minute after our Airbnb canceled two days before the trip. Nippon and the staff went above an beyond to make sure our stay was 10/10. The rooms could use some updating but the same could be said about most properties at the Cape. We weren’t sure about the place when we booked but we would definitely stay there again after our experience.
My kids and I, and new puppy Nigel had a great stay at the Inn and Swan River during Labor Day weekend. Conveniently close to the beach for a morning run before starting your excursion on the Cape, and it was great winding down at the end of the day with a bottle of wine at the fire pit. I have to add that Nippon at concierge made our stay so accommodating that because of him, it really elevated our stay here at the Inn.
