My husband and I are furious! Our stay was horrible!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Owner is rude and racist towards his workers (cleaners) and his clients! We arrived and the place smelt great and was clean and he was yelling at the house keeping, getting very close to the women. Super disrespectful! We were horrified to witness this first hand. He also ripped us off. Almost had to get involved with lawyers... Good thing I had extra money lying around to pay him. Not everyone will be as fortunate to do that, so I would say DO NOT waste your time or money! He is the kind of scum who will do this to anyone! He does not care. Super prideful about his property being his kept coming over to check how things are... like how many times do we need a check - in. What about our privacy? We felt completely violated by this man. Came very close to my husband’s face and was yelling at him about us playing music from our country it was only 8:40 pm!! It was not even loud we were very respectful about it while he was yelling in my husband's face. Not sure if other tourists had this problem... Based on these poor reviews I see that some people had the same sort of problems.... Very clean place, things are super out dated though like the bathrooms... the rooms are so small, and management is run by a group of clowns. Just because my husband and I are not from here doesn’t mean we can be treated this way. It is outrageous how we still have these kinds of people to this day. I hated my whole stay with my husband and my kids. The kids were complaining the whole time that the owner was creepy and kept watching them play out in the beach, since he lives near by. We are so upset to have chosen this place for our stay on the cape. Again, DO NOT RECOMMEND. Do not make the mistake of taking your family here.

Stayed here with some friends. We told Mark we were going to have a DJ. We were told the noise ordinance went into effect after 10pm. At 8:30pm the landlord’s father came over, grabbed dj and screamed at him to turn it off with a scary look in his eyes. The actual inn was beautiful, clean, excellent location. The landlord’s father needs to stay away when guests are there though.

The only reason this review is 1 star is because the home owner, who appears to have no connection to the business aspect of the house is a complete jerk, and has zero customer service. We have been dealing with Mark, who is the home owner' son and who lives in the basement of the property. The house view is beautiful. Mark, the manager said we could host a wedding in the back yard and told us to get a tent license. We got the tent license and 48 hrs before the wedding we were told to get an entertainment license with the town. The home owner came over before the ceremony and took pictures of how many chairs there were and was roaming around the property all weekend. We told mark how many people would be there before hand and he was ok with it so I don't understand why the home owner needed to come over and take pictures when we were honest the entire time. Everything we had was run by Mark and he said it was fine. The home owner then came over at 10 pm, grabbed the guest who was playing music and screamed at him to turn it down. He then belligerently yelled at the bride that if she wanted to stay in the house tonight the music would need to be turned off. If he wanted the music off he could have asked politely and we gladly would have turned it off. We had all the proper licensing to continue to play music and he had no right to threaten us with being kicked out of the house or tell us to turn the music down. He ruined a perfect wedding because his ego trip about owning the house. We called the town of Dennis and they said that this is the third wedding that has called to complain about this man. They also said the police have had to come due to this man doing the same thing to other weddings multiple times before. The next door neighbors that we were told "are a problem" told us it was the best wedding and we were so respectful. Do yourself a favor and don't have a wedding here with this miserable human being across the street. He has no regard for other people's feelings and clearly has no morals to yell at a bride and groom on their wedding day. I feel bad for Mark because it seems he is trying to start a business of having weddings here but his neurotic dad doesn't seem to have the same feelings. I am just hoping this doesn't happen to another couple on their wedding day.

Do NOT stay here and definitely do NOT have a wedding here. House is out of date with poor cleanliness and there was broken beer bottles on the sand. Half of the beach chairs were broken and not stored properly. There are utensils and condiments in the kitchen that were dirty and out dated. The owner’s son lives in the basement and stays there while guests are in the house. He was not helpful at all. The first day we decided to clean up the beach chairs and put them away in the storage bins, there were two identical containers side by side but apparently one was garbage, which was not labeled. He must have seen me put the chairs in the wrong container and sent my fiance a rude text saying “you better have a better solution than throwing away our chairs”. At the end of our stay the garbage truck came to the house and we were responsible for loading all of our trash onto the truck while the owner’s son was home because we saw him and saw his car. On the morning of the wedding, the same man kept walking onto the beach and in the parking lot. He took photos of the ceremony and reception space and continued to walk. Later that night we learned that this man was the owner who lives across the street. At 10:04 pm he entered the tent where the reception was being held, put his hands on the man playing music and yelled “turn the music off now”. The music was turned off but he then approached the bride and asked her where her husband was because he had to talk to him and in the mean time was yelling at wedding guests and threatened the bride that if she did not stop the party that he would kick her out of the house and that she would have to find somewhere else to sleep that night. The owner made the bride get an entertainment license 48 hours before the wedding which legally stated that there could be recorded music at the house until 1am. When she mentioned this license he said “this is my house” and threatened to kick the bride out again. The following day, the town of Dennis was notified who stated that he trespassed on private property and if the police was called he would be escorted off the property. Also, the wedding had the legal right to have recorded music since they had the entertainment license. The town of Dennis also stated that this was the 3rd weekend in a row in which there was either a police complaint or a complaint to the town regarding the owner and the neighbors. PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! The owners of this house and rude and inappropriate. There is no privacy when you stay here and there are better properties on Cape Cod that are recently updated and clean.

DO NOT HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE. The house itself was fine, great location, though very out of date. The owner of the location is another story. After the wedding we had a tent set up next to the house for the 30 or so guests. At 10pm there was approximately 6 people still dancing to music under the tent, including the bride herself. A man who identified himself as the owner of the property (lives across the street) burst into the tent at 10:04pm and immediately demanded the music be shut off. Lowering or shutting off the music is a reasonable request, however the way the owner went about it is totally UNACCEPTABLE. He was extremely and unnecessarily rude to all the guests as soon as he entered the tent. When the BRIDE herself had to confront him and tell him she had paid the town for a entertainment license that allowed recorded music until 1am he threatened to kick her and all the guests out of staying the night. Threatened the BRIDE in her dress on the day of her wedding to kick her and her guests out at 10pm. Please keep in mind the wedding goers were not belligerent or disrespectful, all respectful level headed people who would have gladly turned off the music had we been met with a reasonable attitude. The music was turned down and the owner went away, but the unnecessarily nasty altercation on the night of their WEDDING did have an effect on both the bride and groom. The following day the bride called the town hall to discuss how the entertainment license she was told she needed was not held up. She was told the town hall has had multiple instances of the property owner behaving this way towards guests. If you do not want a wedding at your location, do not host weddings! DO NOT LET THIS MAN RUIN YOUR WEDDING. View was nice. End rant.
