There are two cabins on this property located in a tranquil, rural setting about 30 minutes out of Bega. To get to the cabins you’ll need to travel 4 km off the highway on a gravel road followed by about 600 metres of pretty rough driveway. We had no troubles in our 2WD vehicle but if there is a lot of rain, access could be an issue. The cabins have a spacious bedroom with comfortable bed, small bathroom, well-equipped kitchenette with gas cooktop and oven, and lounge/dining area. Neil and Kumiko are very generous with the breakfast supplies – plenty of bacon, free range eggs, cereal, bread, ground coffee and tea. You’ll need to bring supplies – it's a good 30 minute drive to the nearest shops at Bega. Note that this is a remote property so there was no WiFi, but we were still able to access the data on our phones. This is a really good value option for people looking for a relaxing stay in the country.

My husband and I have just spent 3 nights here . We arrived during torrential rain and the cabin was instantly warm and cosy with the heating on . The cabin contained everything we needed, the bed was super comfortable, the breakfast provided by the hosts was delicious and more than we could eat. The setting was stunning, amazing to walk around the land. Saw echidnas, King Parrots and a wombat asleep in a log.
The hosts are so friendly and we left feeling very relaxed and rested. Highly recommend this little piece of paradise

Stayed here for two nights. Arrived in the afternoon and were greeted by our hosts Neil and Kumiko who showed us our cabin and highlights of the property, all 250 plus hectares. The cabin was cosy and quiet with an excellent view across the valley. We walked down to the dams and creek the next morning, and then over to have a chat with the cows and bulls. Our hosts provided excellent breakfasts for both mornings, which consisted of eggs, bacon, fruit, bread, hash browns, milk, OJ, and cereal. If you are in a 2wd, don’t be put off by the entrance track, it’s all good. There are only two cabins on the property. Yasuragi is a great spot for exploring the area around Bega. Out stay was excellent value for money with the breakfast supplied.

Quite peaceful country setting. I stayed in one of the 2 x 2 room ensuit cabins fully equipped. Four kilometres down a good unsealed road. Visited daily by kangaroos, sheep, cattle and abundant birds. Greater value and hosts. I will be back.

Yasuragi Cabins is one of the most beautiful places on the South Coast. This is our second stay and we stayed for 4 nights - wish it could have been longer.
Very relaxing, outstanding views, so peaceful. Kumiko and Neil are amazing. We left 2 kilos heavier from the gigantic breakfasts that put other places to shame :)
Cabins are exceptionally spotless and serviced daily which is unusual for this accommodation. Also very private. They are 5 stars to us!!! Bed very comfortable. Full kitchen and large fridge which is also brilliant. Will def be back. We have stayed in lots of places around this area and this is by far the pick of anywhere in Bega/Bemboka/Brogo/Narooma. Lots of wildlife to look at. Very dog friendly with a gated deck which means we didn't have to worry about where our dog was while we sat on their gorgeous verandah looking at the view with an ice cold bevvie :) Highly recommend.

Room Tip: There are only 2 cabins on the property. We stayed in the Cabin with the ramp up to the verandah.

We were extremely lucky to be able to secure a spot at the Yasuragi Cabins over the busy Christmas/New Year period - this is likely due to the fact that they don't seem to be listed on the typical accommodation websites (you have to email the hosts directly to find out their availability, but they were very responsive to emails).

Our hosts were helpful and friendly, meeting us upon our arrival to show us around. The cabin was lovely, clean and well-equipped, e.g. with basic pantry items like oil and tea + coffee supplies, shampoos + conditioner, a TV and air-con. We were treated to generous breakfast supplies each day, including more bacon than you could ever imagine!

This is a very dog-friendly stay. Our little cavoodle felt right at home in the cabin, but also loved exploring the many tracks around the property with us.

Access to the property is via approx 5kms of unsealed road, but easily manageable with most cars - just be careful at night/early morning at the road is not lit and there is a lot of wildlife around. The nearest shops are about 25mins drive away in Bega.

"Yasuragi" apparently roughly translates to "peace" or "tranquility", and that's certainly what you get out of they stay. All you can hear are the birds chirping and the occasional cow mooing - no traffic noises whatsoever.

Many thanks to Neil and Kumiko for being such wonderful hosts. We'd definitely recommend the Yasuragi Cabins to anyone else looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway.

A wonderfully peaceful place to have a weekend away from the busyness of life. Comfortable, clean and quiet. Friendly hosts who provide generous breakfast supplies. The farm setting is a delight. Can't recommend it enough.

My wife and I and our dog Oscar spent 4 nights here over the Christmas holidays to get away from the crowds in the nearby holiday town in which we live. This was our 3rd visit and it is one of our favourite spots in the area. Just 1 hour away from where we live it is a world away in terms of relaxation and peace. A lovely haven made into heaven by Neil and Kumiko with their attention to detail and consideration for their guests. Thank you again and we shall be along for another visit soon.

This was our second visit, the first for our anniversary, the second for a birthday. As usual it is the small touches which set this apart from similar cabin retreats. Kumiko is superb at those little details that make you realise how much they care. The kitchen is equipped down to the last detail, paper towels, cooking oil, corkscrews for example are things we would expect to bring ourselves. Of course the fresh flowers are a lovely touch. Well done to you both for the haven you have created.

We had a great and relaxing stay here for three nights. The comfortable and well appointed cabins are on a working farm on the midst of lush green hills and paddocks. There are walks around the farm and surrounding bush. Neil and Kumiko are generous and thoughtful hosts and their breakfast hampers are tasty and fresh. They also welcomed our little pooch.
