Most certainly will be returning, cute little place with all that you need. Loved the fireplace, which was already lit on arrival and enclosed for child safety. Blankets warm and plentyful. Lots of space for a bigger family and very much set up for a family environment. Worth the visit!! Take your winter woolies!!

Our stay at this property was not up to our expectations. The standard left a lot to be desired. Everything was very untidy and dirty. Features advertised were non existent and decor very dilapidated.

Great spacious 3 bedroom home about 10 mins from the highway in farm setting. From for kids to chill after a day in the car. Proper kitchen and bathroom. Welcoming hosts. Thanks for the bickies Dorothy! Making value

I was looking for a place to stay with my parents. We were traveling from Brisbane and they were continuing on to WA and my son and I going to Byron Bay. Dorothy had the fire lit, which I was incredibly grateful for - it went down to 0 degrees overnight! I was questioning if I'd made the right decision to stay there after driving past all the 'normal' accommodation in Glen Innes and we were still driving half an hour later. Once we arrived all my worries were alleviated. It was like going back in time but it had everything that you needed, provided you'd remembered to get all the food you required for your stay. 3 bedrooms - 1x queen, 1x double and 1 bedroom with a single bed and a double bunk. All the furniture is 40's, 50's, 60's..? Old and very funky - even the kitchen cupboards were full of 'old' stuff. The linen was lovely and clean - heaps of towels and extra blankets. The house hadn't been cleaned for some time with cobwebs and ants in the kitchen. The surroundings were beautiful with lots of gorgeous, little lambs and swans with cygnets, we saw huge echidnas and a massive bull. I would definitely recommend this for a family stay - very cheap and private.
