We had an overnight stay unexpectedly in Dirranbandi. This was a lovely, little park and well priced. The amenities were very clean, the owners were exceptionally helpful and the kids loved assisting Nikki with making the garlic pizza in the camp kitchen.

We stayed here a couple of nights. What delightful owners, Nikki and Scott. Nikki did complimentary pizza at happy hour, they were scrumptious and she did quite a few, so we only had light dinner after happy hour. We did the bus tour of cubby station ($50 ph, worth every cent), it was really interesting. Nikki drove the bus ( great driver) and Scott did the commentary.

The park is loveky and amenities spotless.

The park isn’t on main road it’s very quiet at night.

We would certainly recommend this park.

Just had 2 nights at this fabulous caravan park. Owners Nikki and Scott are super friendly. Happy hour around the fires is a great way to get to chat to other travellers and Nikki cooks up pizza or soup and damper or loaded potatoes for everyone. We were lucky enough to be there for pizza one night and soup the next. Delicious. Amenities very clean. Lovely hot showers. 100% recommend this great park.

We arrived at Dirranbandi Retreat and Caravan Park at the end of a long, wet drive from the Sunshine Coast to be greeted by the Very Welcoming Nikki. At Check In she advised that should we be interested there was going to be Soup & Pizza Bread in the Camp Kitchen so of course we had a Credit Card ready to pay for that - that was just not necessary because it was complimentary. There enhancing the Camp Kitchen on that Wet, Miserable Evning was a fantastic open fire and the best hospitality ever from Scott and Nikki. We can only recommend this Caravan Park with 5 Stars - Yes, it was wet, miserable and cold but how can you not feel good when you are greeted like this.

This Park and it's owners represent everything a country Van park should be - the owners Nikki and Scott clearly have a passion for their work and this shows in their interactions and in the standard of the amenities.
No the Park doesn't have jumping castles but it is well kept, clean and very comfortable. Being only a short walk to town and the very popular Russian bakery, it is well located and those who enjoy a longer walk can venture to the local boat ramp with basic picnic facilities.
The Cubbie Station Tour was a highlight of our trip and has enlightened our knowledge of this operation. The media has a lot to answer for.
We used Dirranbandi as a base for lunch at the Nindigully Pub, the Silo art at Thallon and the River Cruise at St George.
We have stayed at this Park 4 times over 10 years and will be back again next time. Thanks Nikki and Scott for a great stay.

Travelling south from Noosa and planning to get to Dubbo at the end of that day, the floods and detours scuppered that plan and we came across this caravan park to stop at for the night.
My family and I were so happy to have stumbled across it - it is the cutest little place. Nikki welcomed us and showed us round a bit before we pitched up and went for dinner at the local pub.
Lovely, clean and hot showers. The kitchen was so nice, with so much thought put into the little details. Loved the idea of communal fire place; sad we didn't have long enough to experience it.
We chatted briefly with Nikki when we arrived and she shared a bit of local knowledge which was really interesting.
Shame we didn't have longer to spend here to enjoy the site and chat with Nikki more and meet Scott too.
We'd love to come back here but just don't know if and when that would happen. It's a gem of a place in a bit of a far-flung place.
Thanks Nikki, for having us!

We were lucky enough to book 2 powered sites for the Paul Kelly & friends concert in July. The lovely owner Nikki was as happy as we were to be able to accommodate us! Fantastic little park with everything you need.
Michael (Nikki’s Son) even assisted us with fire wood. Thanks Guys for a great weekend celebrating my Husband’s milestone birthday!

Stayed at this magnificent, very special little spot hosted by Nikki.

Great communal camp fire in the camp kitchen, free snacks and great chats.

Scratch under the surface slightly and this little town and its surrounds has great stories to tell.

Room Tip: Book ahead as it’s not a huge camp ground.
