We attended my nephew's wedding there and we stayed there as well. The Wedding Venue and the property were top notch. The food was outstanding and the staff were awesome! The hotel was ok. We stayed in the Motor Lodge part and let's just say it was like taking a step back in time to the 1970's. The rooms need...

Found this historic hotel by chance (the hotel guides in the local ad books). The Inn proper is overflowing with history and charm. We were able to get a two room which were connected by an private staircase; a pleasant surprise as the kids could sleep in one room and the parents in the other but still be accessible. The...

Ordered the spinach salad with candied walnuts, goat cheese and cranberries. The dressing was made with maple syrup. It was delicious. The other salad was the house salad called the Publick House salad. Both were fresh. Next, was the turkey dinner with real mashed potatoes and squash. I did not want the sausage stuffing that usually accompanies this dish. The...

We had planned to go to Hershey but were exhausted so called ahead to Publick House via Hotels.com. Good rate but the date was messed up. Called the site and the hotel changed the date quickly. Off to bed with no muss, no fuss. We love the restaurant, with a discount, breakfast is a deal! We, however, opted for the...

I've stayed here before, but this time I was here for 3 nights. Wonderful, comfortable beds and linens (though I'm not a fan of the pillow; no problem, I travel with one.) Rooms are roomy, the weather was nice enough to use the balcony, and I love the property. I prefer staying in the Lodge.

From the initial Check in, very clean and comfortable rooms and the on site restaurants the service is excellent. Their off season deals are ideal for the traveler with of without children. Location is great as well. Located about 1 mile from the Mass Turnpike and Rte 84, don't let this stop pass you bye.

We love the food served here, but as we are only passing through, we lament the oversized dishes. Even the appetizer Lobster Mac is the size of a full meal and is delicious. The Chicken Pot Pie is large and very tasty. The meal also comes with sticky buns, a treat to us. A big complaint this time, is that...

Just had dinner at the tap room. It has a really nice antique atmosphere and would go again just for that. The place was only around 1/2 full on a quiet Monday night after Easter. The guy started to seat us in the middle of a room while the tables lining the edge were all empty but no issue getting...

This is an easy and affordable overnight stop for us as we travel from Maine to points south for family visits. We appreciate the garden plantings and the ample green space to stretch our travel legs. We've stayed here at least a half a dozen times and appreciate the charm plus the attentiveness of the staff. Our most recent visit...

We arrived just in time for a snowstorm to begin. We were warming welcomed. Although we had made reservations for the main dining room, due to weather changes, we were changed to the Tavern. It was an excellent dinner - clam chowder, lobster Mac and cheese for my husband and clam chowder and butternut squash ravioli for myself. The rooms...
