We recently stayed with Viki and Andy Carter at Amerscot House and on arrival we immediately felt very welcome and completely relaxed. Our suites were extremely spacious with adjoining bathrooms and had lovely views out onto the grounds. There was an amazing array of snacks, home-baked biscuits, chocolates, water, hot drinks available and were made welcome to enjoy a wine... More

It's not often you can write a review that is all pros & NO cons. My review predecessors has said it all. The inn is immaculate, the amenities top shelf, the owners are wonderful, accomodating people. The owners Vicki & Andy have figured out how to make your stay outstanding!!

Joined our friends for our first stay( their second) at this beautiful, perfectly kept and decorated Inn. We were immediately welcomed with open arms by Viki and Andy and felt right at home. Viki gave us a tour of the house and helped us find a restaurant for dinner that was perfect!! The Inn has kept its quaint charm but... More

A full-service heaven in the country. We were in town for a wedding and it was the most romantic place I've stayed with the BEST BREAKFAST I've had in quite sometime. The innkeepers were so sweet and accommodating.

Oh my, this place is wonderful. Freshly ironed linen sheets, fruit, snacks, beer, wine, soda, water, coffee available all the time. A made to order full breakfast! Wonderful stay. Vicki is delightful, as is her husband. The Inn is a beautiful building, well kept. We stayed in the Gibson room, king bed, two easy chairs, a working surface, Kreug, water,... More

We stopped this time on our way to Maine. Ambers cot is by far our favorite B&B. I remember asking Vicki during our first visit a few years back how she decided on all the details...the perfect bedding, towels, snacks, coffee and water plus chocolates in the room, free drinks, lovely baked good, a menus for breakfast, directions to everything... We stayed four nights at the Amerscot Inn. It was a perfect getaway hub for our Boston vacation. Our host, Viki and Andy, were so accommodating and kind. They truly make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. A full, made to order breakfast each morning is outstanding! Rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, as we slept like... More

One of the finest Bed and Breakfast we have ever stayed in (and we've been in dozens through the years!). Viki gave us a much needed warm welcome and quick tour of the house and our room, providing details and dinner suggestions. The home is just lovely-combining love of fine furniture and art while remaining very comfortable and down to... More

Lovely old New England house, well kept up and not 'rickety'. The grounds are beautiful. One morning at breakfast we looked out at the bird feeders and weren't disappointed with the variety. Many extras (bottled water, Kurigs, plenty of snacks, even Sam Adams and wine). Breakfasts are phenomenal. Smoked salmon eggs Benedict and also the waffles were great. The hosts... More

Amerscot House Inn is truly a comfortable and gracious place to stay. The only problem with our stay there was that it was too brief. Viki has thought of everything, down to the smallest detail, in creating an inviting retreat. She and her crew strike just the right balance in providing attentive personalized care to their guests.
