Our New England leaf peeper trip included a one night stay at the RLI in Stockbridge. While the main building of the Inn is charming and historical, my husband and I were pleased our room was in the Stevens home, one of the nearby buildings comprising the RLI complex. Our room was large, warm with king bed, great linens and...

While we didn't stay at the inn- we were kindly offered a tour - beautiful old antiquities in every room - this Inn and restaurant has been here since the 1800's I believe ! The huge front porch was a fabulous spot to unwind after a long day of hiking the beautiful Berkshires.! We had appetizers in the Pub... Meet...

This place takes you back a few centuries to the old inns of England and Scotland- the better inns, I should say! And the food is no doubt better now than then- in fact I had one of the best fish and chip lunches I've just about ever had! We ate in the pub section rather than the dining room-...

A very quirky, historic inn in the centre of Stockbridge. Very interesting reception rooms crammed with antiques and paintings, a tavern and a shop. The hotels cat, Simon wanders around and curls up by the fire. The staff are very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about the inn's history. The old metal lift, which is only operated by a staff...

We stayed at the Red Lion Inn one night during Colunbus weekend (big celebrations and festivities every where during this weekend). We were greeted by two 1200+ pumpkin displays, gourds, mums and bales of hale at the main entrance! That was quite impressive. We lucked out on a two room suite. The sitting room had a large, veey comfortable sofa,...

We strayed here Columbus weekend and had a guest room at the Stevens House located a block from the main lodge. Stevens house is quieter than the main building. Large room with king size bed and clean. Comfortable bed. The decor is straight from the 1800. Mismatch antique furniture and funky wallpaper. A plus is that there is a common...

We arrived Monday of Columbus Day weekend. The walkway leading up to the inn was beautifully decorated with 1200 lb pumpkins on either side, some mums and some corn stalks. Upon check in there was a crate of fresh apples for guests checking in. Our room was ready at 3pm as promised. The lobby was bustling with guests and the...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences at the Red Lion Inn! We are delighted that you enjoyed the fall décor and appreciated the crate of fresh apples to welcome our guests. Each season we have a variety of packages that we offer, and one of the packages we offered this year included a flight of wine...

It seems you need to have good luck to stay here. If you manage to avoid the snotty guy who thinks he owns the world, you might come away having had a really nice stay. Everyone else we encountered at the hotel was lovely. But I guess we weren't lucky; we ran afoul of this guy twice who was as...

We arrived at 8 pm in the dark on Main Street in Stockbridge and, after asking a local, were told to go to the Red Lion Inn. We were lucky - there was a lovely room waiting for us at the separate "Stevens" guest house (around the corner from the Red Lion). We climbed the outdoor stairs from the parking...

I've been to the Red Lion inn several times over the years, this time with a great group of Australian clients to give them the fall foliage tour and take in the sites. They loved the ambience and the setting of course and enjoyed a cozy night by the fire complete with piano player...just what they had hoped for. Great...
