We enjoyed a week at the Summer House. We selected this perfect location in honor of a family memory. This quiet and serene location allowed us to reflect on the importance of living life. The cottages are quirky but expected for such a place. The view of the ocean is amazing! Moments from the beach for a walk at sunrise...

The Summer House Cottages look great on-line but the actual experience is a bit less. My wife and I stayed in the Francesca cottage Mid September, 2016. We arrived in mid afternoon to check in. I'm thinking for the price I am paying there will be a decent lobby area with check in and someone to help me with my...

Our stay at the Summer House in Sconset was the most unpleasant we have had during our travels. The customer service after our trip in response to our complaints was even worse. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone at any price. We were supposed to stay 3 nights at the Summer House (Thursday, Friday and Saturday) to celebrate...

Spent 3 days at the Summer Cottages in August 2016. The cottages are very run down and in poor repair. The landscaping is horrible. In one cottage, it felt as though the floor would cave in if you jumped on it. In another cottage, there were numerous dead bees - not too inviting for someone with an allergy to bee...

See the review titled "Run Down" as I couldn't say it any better. Good beach access but don't try to go to the companion beach club and charge food or drinks to your room-not allowed. We had to disinfect the clothes cabinet as the odor of mold was overwhelming. Few employees, although they were pleasant. AC unit had one speed,...

Rustic charm meets authentic island experience! This is a perfect location to spring from for shopping, restaurants, outdoor excursions and boat hopping!! We loved the bright, well-appointed rooms, the feeling like you're in a house, not a hotel, and the beautiful grounds! The breakfast was plentiful, and the coffee is goooood!! Francesca is a ROCK STAR! She went above and...

We book The Summer house for 6 nights. Paid around $5,000.00, Based on the charm of the cottages, landscape, pool, and ocean front. The cottages are run down. Poorly decorated, dated, in desperate need of renovation. The service is non existent. No one to tell you where the ice is or get you ice for that matter. Some smell was...

Went there for a drink, nice location, but three people with drinks at the bar looked delicious so my wife and I decided to order one also, the owner(women) came over and said they weren't serving which is odd because the bartender asked for our order. No problem though, we get up to leave and the other owner(man) told us...

here for the weekend of July 4th. Plenty of staff on hand, but no one really seems to want to help. Call the number listed on the website to reserve a jitney into town, they tell us to call a different number for the front desk. Call the front desk three times and no one answers. Order the corn on...

Stayed in one of the cottages for a long weekend. Everyone here was so nice and helpful! Any time we needed anything they were right on it. The view and beach is amazing. The beach/pool restaurant was convenient and great! Can't wait to go back again.
