My husband and I stayed here for a few nights at the end of a tour around New England, and we definitely saved the best until last. After an initial problem with our reservation, which was dealt with efficiently by booking.com and with an irresistible charm offensive by our host, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Colonial home.... How many phone calls/weeks does it take to book a visit here? Not sure because after many phone calls and emails I've given up trying. Friends and I are traveling through the area on our way to Maine. We are traveling with our horses and we're excited to find an inn where've could board our horses overnight and stay there... More

We booked a last minute weekend in the Berkshires to attend a concert at Tanglewood and we were not disappointed. The Inn is only about 15 minutes from Tanglewood so it was a great location. Johnny greeted us immediately and gave us a tour of the Inn. The entire first floor was available at all times to the guests and... More

This is a great place to visit and just relax. Johnny, the Inn keeper, is well versed and a great conversationalist. The rooms are quiet, very clean and beautiful. They have so many different options available for couples, families, groups or singles - Johnny will be happy to assist you with anything you need. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of... More

When relocating to the area last month, our house closing was unexpectedly delayed again and again. A one night reservation at the Inn at Richmond became a 7-night stay. Johnny the innkeeper graciously accommodated us. We will always remember how his daily kindnesses mitigated a highly stressful situation. The inn is beautiful and peaceful inside and out. We are fortunate... More

Stayed in main building. The suite was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. John's breakfast of quiche and French toast was excellent. Overall the experience was very, very positive. Didn't rate this a 5 star as the main building is 1790 vintage so the physical plant was dated but comfortable and clean. We will go again when we... More

Convenient drive to Lenox for Tanglewood. If your taste is to be close to restaurants, etc, it's a bit out of way. The wifi was a bit spotty. But, we loved the large room with living room, bedroom and bath. When away from home, beds are not always comfortable, but the mattress on this king bed was wonderful, and I... More

We are not normally B&B stayers, but we were attending a show at Tanglewood and stayed here. Maybe we should rethink B&B's after this place. Our room with large with a bedroom, living room, and private bath. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast we fresh cooked. We would definitely come back

My husband and I stayed at the inn this past weekend and loved it! The innkeeper was very accommodating, helpful and gave us a nice tour of the property. The inn itself is absolutely charming. Very clean and cozy. Breakfast was included and was delicious. We would definitely stay again.
