The room was small but very cozy. There were a full kitchen and nice bathroom with a sliding door. Sadly they don't serve free breakfast because of covid. The vice manager was very nice. We had to stay til five despite late checkout was 12 (and check in was three) she let us stay until then for free which we appreciated. It's not a fancy hotel but its sweet and homey.
We were in town for a funeral and stayed one night. We were greeted warmly and processed in very quickly. The room was in excellent condition and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was neat and clean and one of the few hotels that I have stayed in that had a bathtub grab bar. I notice that most Hampton Inns are installing them for safety. The one negative was the lack of a bathroom fan. We had the complimentary breakfast and found it very good. A good selection of food. What was suppose to be warm was warm and what was suppose to be cold was cold.I try to stay in Hampton Inns whenever I travel as I have had very good experiences at reasonable prices.
My wife and I were here for four nights. I fully realize that traveling during a pandemic will bring about a challenge though services were severely lacking. Staff was very friendly and the hotel is very clean and sanitized. This was the only good part of our stay. We did not receive housekeeping once during our stay. Our room was not stocked well either. Each day we had to go to the front desk to request extra towels, wash cloths, toiletries and coffee and then carry the items back to our room. While I understand that due to the pandemic housekeeping would be limited I believe we should have been provided enough to get through the four nights ahead of time rather than having to ask every morning. The breakfast bags that were provided each morning were also a joke. A packaged breakfast bar, an apple and a bottle of water were provided. I realize that during the pandemic we were not going to have a hot breakfast but they could have put a little more thought and effort into what they provided. Because the room and hotel were clean I would possibly consider them again at some point but I would avoid this place during the pandemic unless you are only looking for a place to crash.…
Best place we have stayed. Friendly staff that are very helpful. Comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast with many choices of food and juice. Lots of extras. Close to many things. Great location, minutes from Salem.
I chose this Hampton Inn because I could use my Hilton Honors points there, and visit Salem (about ten/fifteen minutes away,) without paying Salem hotel prices. This hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was fine (the waffle station was quite fun!)
