We stayed at the Boston Marriott Peabody on our trip to Salem since the location was ideal and safe! Upon arrival, the hotel itself was pretty empty and quiet, so checking in was quick and easy. The woman who assisted us at the Front Desk (I don't want to butcher her name) was extremely courteous and helpful. Although we were checked into our first room on the first floor with a broken window lock and mold on the curtains, we were quickly moved to a higher floor after I brought this to the attention of the Front Desk and confirmed that I was a Bonvoy Gold Elite member. After being moved upstairs, the rest of the stay was much more pleasant. The room itself was clean enough, but we still wiped everything down to be safe (and because of our initial room issues). The amenities were acceptable and the room was in decent condition. It was nice that we were able to reserve the Fitness Center for personal use (this was a huge plus)! Overall, our stay was perfectly decent. The Boston Marriott Peabody was quiet, safe, and spacious. Despite our initial issues, the hotel staff quickly remedied the situation and made things right which I commend them for. They also followed COVID-19 protocols pretty well, which I was definitely thankful for!…
Made a reservation back in the beginning of October for a business meeting that later got canceled due to the pandemic. According to very unclear refund policies, I wasn’t able to get any of my 131.00 back. I dealt with the most rude and obnoxious customer service representative I’ve ever experienced who refused to help me whatsoever. Then he proceeded to give me rude, sarcastic and belittling comments. I will never stay at this hotel chain again! I prefer businesses that treat their customers with respect, not invoke vague policies in order to steal their money. If I could give zero stars, I would.
We went to Salem and stayed in Marriott Boston Peabody hotel and we loved it. The staff was great specially Johany. He let us check in early and gave us great information about Salem new restrictions.
Came here to spend the night as it was the closest Marriott to Marblehead I could find. This Marriott qualifies for the annual free gift certificate. About a 30 minute drive away from Marblehead. The lady on duty at night was extremely friendly and pleasant and due to my platinum status gave me bottles of water. However there are no restaurants open, no Starbucks, no coffee except in your room and at the front desk. Things are all sadly shut down because of Covid. Masks required. However the room was very comfortable, had a massive television, and the products in the bathroom were out of this world. Some kind of eucalyptus - like being at a spa! Really nice. Free parking.
We Travel a lot. Wanted to stay somewhere close to town. It was clean, but the room was small, absolutely no food, most hotels are at least doing grab and go breakfasts, no flavored creamers for coffee- that you had to go to the front desk to get. And the price wasnt great. The bed was comfy...
