I booked here based on current reviews which stated this was a wonderful place. I guess my idea of wonderful and those who wrote those reviews are completely different. This hotel might be if the owners put some money back into it. The pool looks like it is from the 60's, as well as the décor inside the rooms/bathrooms. One...

Just checked in, staff and guests are very friendly! my Starbucks app brought me to Orleans or I would have went to Truro. Starbucks is 1 mile down 6A inside the Stop and Shop - Sweet!! Olde Tavern has colonial feel with a bangin WiFi, nice pool, very nice room, fridge and Keurig coffee in the room. NO Stairs!!! Park...

The original building is very cool. The historical main building should make this the best motel in Orleans, however, the motel needs some upgrades. It's difficult to plug in electronic devices. The bed is too soft and the linen is not something you would want in your bed at home. My room did have two comfortable chairs! Service is relaxed....

Had a room that was supposed to have a Pool view, it did not. Not a huge issue since the pool was not open. Out of season. Quaint, but outdated decor. Issues with a few things. Wallpaper peeling in the room, bathroom vent fan did not work at all. Hot water in shower and bath was not hot. We were there...

This is my third experience at Olde Tavern Motel & Inn and each time I find myself making excuses why staying there is acceptable. The location is great (true), the pool is well tended to and private (true) - HOWEVER - convincing myself that the decor is "kitchy" no longer flies. This motel requires a serious facelift - the beds...

I booked this hotel, based on the reviews from trip advisor. We were quite disappointed. The room "looked" clean, but the sheets on the bed, did look that they have been changed after the last visit. I asked for a new bed sheet, and they have provided, no question asked. When we arrived the person at the desk said the...

Needed a one night stay in a clean room and this fit the bill. Nothing fancy, but great place to rest your head at night after a long day at the beach. The family owned operation was just what we needed and there was no minimum night stay like in many of the other area motels. Easy access from the...

If what you are seeking in a motel is trendy decor, granite counter tops, and snob appeal...stay some place else. If what you want is an immaculately clean and very comfortable room in a homey setting, a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed, a convenient location, and one of the best hotel pools on the Cape, then this is...

I stayed at this motel for a few days the first weekend in August and I picked it based on a couple of recent reviews. The location is good but I guess everyone has their own personal standards for what is acceptable. Trust me, I am far from uppity or snooty but I found the place to be old and...

This wonderful beautifully lamdscaped motel is a surprise.Conveniently located within walking distance to a dozen restaurants and charming central Orleans shops, the biggest kept secret is the private, fabulous large in ground pool surrounded by woods and hydrangeas with plenty of lounge chairs and tables. The owners take meticulous care of the property. The rooms are simply furnished, but the...
