We first learned about this hotel because we had a dog we wanted to bring to the Cape, and the Resort is pet friendly. We made our reservation in January, and our dog died in March. Without our dog, we checked into the Outer Reach...More
This is a great and very friendly place for people who look for a good place to sleep and don't expect any luxurious and over the top services. The location is very nice with beautiful views of the ocean, short ride to Ptown any many...More
My friend and I checked in at this hotel late at night, at the last minute since our car broke down. Even though it was very late, Bonnie was very patient and went out of her way to help us. The place is quiet with...More

Thank you for choosing to stay at the Outer Reach Resort. Our pet policies are in place so that all of our guests can enjoy their Cape Cod vacation. From your description, I don't believe your dogs will present a problem. Crate trained dogs are generally comfortable in their crates when left alone. We have issues in the past with pets being left unattended (and uncrated) in the room for many hours. Being left alone in an unfamiliar environment, these dogs would bark incessantly for the entire time and sometimes cause considerable damage to the room. Of course, their owners would not believe that their dogs were capable of this, but it happens often. That is why the pet policies are in place. I hope you understand our position in this matter and choose to stay with us. Thank you.
