We spent 10 glorious days at Kalmar Village in late August 2016 thru Labor Day! By far, out of all of our travels, this is a highlight each year for our family in a simply glorious vacation spot!! Our three children (ages 9 (twins) and 7) look forward each and every year to their Cape Cod vacation at Kalmar Village....

I attended a wedding held at Kalmar Village. Places like this are rare. Lots of cabins for guests to stay in, beautiful beach for ceremony, and a spot for a tent amongst the cabins. My only gripe is that check in took a long time (like 20 min) despite being relatively straightforward. The only complication was that my mom had...

My husband and I just had our small beach side wedding here at Kalmar Village. Our families came to stay for the weekend and we all had cottages close to each other. The center grass courtyard provided for a meeting place for the kids to all play, the big beach was beautiful! The volleyball court and the fire pit were...

Had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Village. The accommodations are very basic, but the property was clean and on an excellent location. I arrived very late, and the manager had every ready for a comfortable arrival after a long drive. Highly recommended for the budget traveler.

After deciding on short notice to go away for the weekend, we came upon Kalmar Village. I read many reviews and figured I would submit one.. We had a very clean, cute 1 bedroom (with 2 beds)cottage, kitchenette and a modern bath/shower. We are not high maintenance people so bringing our own toiletries and coffee pot is not a big...

My family stayed in two cottages in Kalmar Village for 3 nights. It was 4 adults and a child under 1. Kalmar was perfect for us. We were able to set up a travel size pack and play in the bedroom of one of the cottages. There was more than enough room if we had more people staying with us....

If you're looking to relax and enjoy your very own piece of paradise, head to Kalmar Village. Check in was a breeze with David welcoming us and upgrading our cottage to one right on the beach. We were so excited! What a view from many of the windows. Within one hour of our arrival, our family was relaxed and enjoying...

This is an Awesome location ! one of the only beach front hotel on the Cape (I know because I called many!). We stayed at Tradewinds rooms 5&6. They were exactly as advertised. Small efficiency, the beds were reasonably comfortable there was plenty of room for 2 guests had all the kitchen utensils you need. We didn't use the pool...

-Overpriced, antiquated and run by a guy whose only concern is $. My family has been coming here for years. Too many years. Only recently have they given thought to relocating the family vacation, and thank God for that. KV is a bunch of little cottages that is like stepping back to 1955. Picture a tiny cabin furnished with stuff...

Our family is so thankful that you and your family have chosen Kalmar Village as your vacation destination for 40 years. Kalmar Village is a family-owned business – purchased in 1967 and then passed down to the next generation – and welcoming back families who enjoy the true Cape Cod experience we offer year after year is at the very...

We had rm #8 (Tradewinds), an efficiency with a queen bed and a sofa bed. One adult and two teens in our party. The pros: Beautiful setting. On the beach. Room was very clean and updated. LOTS of outlets for charging devices. Hard floors. Comfortable bed. Fabulous location on RT 6a. Decently sized and clean pool. Microwave, little stove, and...
