If you are anything like me, the crowds (even off-season) in Edgartown, Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs are daunting and uninviting. Staying on the other side of the island was the best decision we made! And because we were traveling off-season the Inn was half the high-season price. I would not have given them 4 stars if I had paid...

We stayed here for a week and took it as our base camp to travel all over the island. This inn has a very good restaurant (not the breakfast one), with incredible views. What we liked the most is that it is less touristy than the rest of the Island so after a day's exploration it was worth the while...

The Inn has beautiful grounds and lots of charm and great views. It feels very personal to the tastes of the owners and absolutely not chain-ey. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free continental breakfast at the Inn was enh (although the fresh fruits was fantastic as it was everywhere on the island). We were happy to pay...

My whole family stayed here last summer and we returned this past year briefly. The pros: 1. Breakfast was great every morning and the homemade scones are just ridiculously delicious. 2. Facilities were pretty decent, we used the tennis court and rec rooms, although they could seriously use some AC in the rec rooms. 3. The grounds are beautiful and...

So happy to have been back for a visit even if it was a shorter then normal visit. The hotel and cottages continue to get more fabulous every year and this year was no exception. Had almost every meal at Beach Plum which is also fantastic. But also be sure and have the Key Lime Pie from Homeport (two minutes...

First of all, without me asking, they upgraded us from the hotel-type room (which looked fresh and new) to a bigger King suite in the Carriage House. It had a beautiful view of the ocean, a living area with nice-sized refrigerator, flat-screened TV, sofa sleeper, and free wifi. The phone was also free because cell coverage was very spotty. There...

We just got back from a stay at the Menemsha Inn. The cottage was clean and what we had expected. The staff was very nice and helpful. We arrived early and they still got us in our cottage ahead of time. The few things wrong were. They did not tell us that they were a pet friendly place. I do...

For $320/night, I expect something special and I think the Inn has the potential to be special. It's a lovely location with great views and low-key, friendly staff, air-conditioning or screened-in living, whichever you prefer. I gave the manager suggestions about how to bring the room up to snuff: get rid of the stain on the carpet; replace the stained...

We stayed at the Menemsha for 5 nights this June and really have no complaints other than the people staying in the room above us were quite loud and until all hours of the night (but you can't really control them I suppose). The room was great. Comfortable bed. The housekeepers were speedy and thorough. Great view of the ocean...

My husband and I have been coming to the Vineyard for over 25 years and have stayed in a number of different places. We settled on the Menemsha Inn but had not been back in many years. We were very happy to see that the place is still as gorgeous as it always was. We spent the first 5 nights...
