The Fairview closed it's doors about a week ago. Not sure if the building will reopen as a restaurant. The history of the building is very interesting. It was once a brothel, and once burned down in a fire.

Halfway through our Sept. vacation (9/21/15, I think) exploring the Ct., RI & Mass. coastline, we discovered Brant Rock & The Fairview Restaurant (as part of this Inn). It was one of the best meals of our trip! The view (open ocean beyond a few cars), the restaurant decorating (gorgeous), the food (best Fish-N-Chips I've had) was enough to make us...

The Fairview Inn never fails to impress. In the summer on the deck eating a lobster roll, to the heart of winter and a warm bowl of New England Clam Chowder by the roaring fire. We have taken family and friends from out of town here in with young ones, and seniors. The burgers and sea food are consistently great....

Prices are fair in the restaurant with rather large portions. Service was good and atmosphere is fine. Large portions for kids meals. One meal enough for 2 kids. Free valet parking is a plus as space seems limited. Nice view of ocean if you can get a table by the window. Outside dining as well. Had fried oysters. Great onion...

I go here for lunch often with a good friend. Very charming place with nice outdoor seating when the weather is warm. The service is good and the food outstanding. The Inn is in a quiet part of town and the ocean is just across the street. Really welcoming, clean and enjoyable.

I have been eating here for over 10 years, and the food is consistently good. In the warm months it is nice to sit outside on the deck and dine al fresco. Inside the restaurant has a large dining room on one side that can double as a function room for moderate-size parties. The other side has a smaller dining...

We went to the Inn for our anniversary dinner (we didn't tell them that). The location is beautiful - right across from the ocean. It is everything that you expect in an 'Inn'. Beautiful old wood, well decorated nautical theme without being overdone. Food and service were excellent. It was our first time there, but we will definitely go back....

Spent the weekend of October 24th here with a group of friends - perfect place for a reunion or family get-together. The owners have done a super job matching the architecture, design and decorating to the Victorian period but with modern amenities. It is a place where you feel very pampered. The food and beverages are fabulous (great lobster salad!)....

Much like stepping back in time, with modern conveniences. You check in a the front desk for the restaurant and rooms are upstairs. Very private, each room has its own balcony that overlooks the Atlantic. The sunrises are glorious and in the mornings a number of locals park in the inn parking lot across Ocean Street and enjoy the sunrise...

Had lunch with my Mom here on Saturday. Idk if there's anything on menu over 15 bucks or so, great selection of soups sandwiches, seafood, burgers, whatever mood you are in, you'll def find something. Waiter was tops, ambiance something very special. Clean as could be, ocean view through sparkling clean windows. Absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend.

“The Green Harbor Room is spacious and far enough away from the front door and outdoor seating area that the noise is minimal. There is one suite with a separate living room- not sure of the noise level it is much closer to the outside dining area.”
