Harborside House is a peaceful, lovely old house near enough to the water one can hear the sea at night. There is no TV, and the best room has twin beds, but the room is quiet and comfortable and if you're stressed and need to get away, this is the place. There's another double room at the back of the...

Stayed 2 nights in October and immediately felt like family. Beautiful historic home in a newly discovered destination, Marblehead, MA. Thought we were coming out to visit Salem (what a pathetic joke of an experience that was) and decided Marblehead was the place to be. Thank you Susan for sharing your beautiful home with us.

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Garden room which was beautiful, it even had a view of the harbor from one of the windows. Breakfast, fresh bread and a fruit spread was waiting for us which was prepared by Susan who was a delight and made us tea in the evening. The patio had a gorgeous view of the...

Over the past 16 years, every time we visit the Boston area, we stay at Harborside House. This is our favorite Inn of all the ones we have frequented in Europe and North America. The location, ambience and value is excellent, the hostess is so gracious and knowledgeable. The house is clean and warm. The sunrises over the harbor into...

Harborside House is ideally located for a visit to Marblehead, Massachussets. The house itself is very attractive and very comfortably furnished, and Susan is a wonderful host. We were her only guests and nothing was too much trouble.

My wife and I with our four children (ages 9-14) have just spent five days at Harborside House while visiting Marblehead for the first time. Our hostess Susan was simply delightful. The experience was like visiting a dear friend who welcomes you warmly, wishes you to be comfortable in her home and makes every effort to see that you enjoy...

I have to say I really enjoyed my stay in Harborside House. The rooms are so beautiful and comfortable. The house is kept clean. I liked the views of the harbor especially. It has an excellent location within walking distance to upscale restaurants and stores. The owner was a respectable, welcoming hostess who provided warm touches of hospitality not found...

A friend and I booked the twin room for our high school reunion weekend. Susan was such a lovely hostess, welcoming and friendly, and the house is so charming. It was unusually hot the first night, but a couple of fans cooled down the room enough to enjoy, and when the weather turned, it was perfect (the beds were especially...

My friend and I stayed in Susan's lovely twin bed room on our recent two week New England road trip. We loved the room and breakfast on the porch was delightful. Wish we could have stayed more than one night in this beautiful little harbor town. We really enjoyed getting to know Susan.
