Where to begin? The fact that the rooms are small, and I had one of the better ones, not charming or quaint ambience at all like any normal B&B, in Lenox or elsewhere in our experience, totally out of date, linoleum floor and moldy bathroom and tub, dirty, smelly, all in all like my old college fraternity house and room...

Stayed 2 nights when place was fairly empty. Booked way ahead and they gave us room 3rd floor. So tiny, carpet dirty, windows filthy. Cluttered with furniture and dingy. Could hardly walk around room. King bed was two twins slapped together. Left and stayed in Pittsfield route 7 at Yankee motor inn. Half the price with beautiful view to the...

thank you so very much, our peaceful room and breakfast service were complete and attentive to our individual tastes, the fireplace and traditional room decor with individualized temperature control gave a real warmth to our stay, the whirlpool private tub with accompanying amenities provided for our bathing, and refreshment needs quite nicely, feeling more like guests in a family home,...

My wife and I stayed here the Saturday and Sunday evenings of Hurricane Irene, having planned on attending concerts at Tanglewood Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. (For the first time in Tanglewood's 74-year history, they cancelled the Sunday afternoon concert due to Hurricane Irene.) This B&B gives new meaning to the words "centrally located": You can walk to Tanglewood (although...

Usually my husband and I stay in larger brand name hotels, but this time we decided to get more of the flavor of Lenox by staying at the Village Inn. Our room was small but comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfasts were included in the price and had an varied selection. We especially enjoyed the ginger...

Not wanting to drive back to RI after an all day trip to Tanglewood we decided to stay overnite in nearby Lenox, MA and managed to squeak out a reservation at The Viliiage Inn B&B. All lodgings are sold out in Feb. when the annual Tanglewood schedule is published. Late arrivers beware!!!! Very few rooms available in August. Village Inn...

The breakfasts were buffet style both of the mornings that we stayed here, and they were very good. Our rooms were comfortable. Both couples stayed in the TIER 1F rooms with fireplaces, and for a building as old as this one we were surprised by the size of the rooms. They were large by “Bed and Breakfast” standards. There were...

I stayed one night at the Village Inn and did not want to leave, but had responsibilities to get back to. This historic 1771 inn has charm and warmth. My room was very clean and comfortable with everything I needed already in it, such as a clock radio, air conditioner, hair dryer and even a whirlpool bathtub. Billie and Pat,...

A great location when going to a Tanglewood show. Friendly and helpful service. The delicious breakfast is a reason to back on it's own. Its a charming and welcoming inn without pretention. I was a little skeptical about kareoke at Rumpy's when it was mentioned at check-in, but I am so glad we stopped in for a nightcap. What a...

In Lenox to attend a ballroom event at Ventfort Hall. Staying at the Village Inn made the weekend even more special. The staff was exceptionally attentive and friendly. Our room was clean with a romantic canopy bed and fireplace. Located right in Lenox Village, we were able to walk to the many shops and galleries. Dinner on the porch at...
