One of the best B&Bs we've stayed in. Everything worked and the breakfasts were superb. Great rooms and the location is perfect. Stan really likes what he does. Have him tell you about getting the Allman Brothers Band back together, and his Little Richard story, from his music days. Martin D. & Jan H. St. Louis, Missouri

My wife and I stayed at the Hampton Terrace for a weekend getaway. We had an excellent time there. Stan was a great host, our room was very comfortable, and the breakfasts were delicious. We especially enjoyed: the location (just a block or two from restaurants and shopping), gas fireplace in the room (perfect for the chill autumn evenings), as...

By it's nature, a New England Bed & Breakfast is supposed to be a comfortable, quaint, relaxing, personal experience, far apart from that of the hustle and bustle of a massive chain hotel where you are just a number. The Hampton Terrace totally fits the bill. The owners are very personable and go far out of their way to make...

I was just a guest at Hampton Terrace for five nights. As many others have written, it is a wonderful inn. What impressed me was not only the hosts, the amazing breakfasts, etc. but also the attention to detail in the rooms. The owners are originally from the South and really know how to make guests welcome. We came to...

We discovered Hampton Terrace 6 years ago when we began our annual visits to Tanglewood. It's a wonderful inn in a perfect location for us - walking distance to many excellent restaurants, and interesting shops to explore. We feel like it's our home away from home in the Berkshires. Stan and Susan are terrific hosts and have always made us...

My husband and I stayed for one night at this lovely inn. We loved everything about Hampton Terrace. Stan graciously invited us to check in early and allowed us to choose our room from the two available rooms in the Cottage. The room was beautifully appointed, comfortable and extremely clean. Prior to our arrival, Stan emailed us recommendations for Lenox...

great phone and e mail assistance to obtain a booking , warm welcome - excellent breakfast with good quality bread fruit yogurts and coffee etc. and freshly cooked eggs and ham. The house is like a fine old English country home plenty of atmosphere and beauty but clean and inviting and reminded me of home . I was sorry I...

Hampton Terrace is a nice, large B&B. We did not stay in the main house, which feels a bit older and more charming than the addition where our room was located. The room was spacious and clean and had nice amenities like a gas fireplace and whirlpool tub. Yet, it felt like things could be spruced up a little to...

HamptonT, Owner at Hampton Terrace Bed and Breakfast Inn, responded to this review

Before this reviewer even arrived home (or posted this review) our housekeepers noticed and changed the light bulb and put up new shower curtains. Our guests receive an e-mail the day before arrival asking them to let us know of any issues they encounter, so that we can handle them immediately...which we do. So it is somewhat disappointing that this...

Hampton Terrace was perfect for us, we got to enjoy a lovely, historic house, while staying in one of the garden rooms, with all mod cons. The Pearl Davis suite is the first of three gardens rooms in a row, facing the pool, at the back of the house. Lovely spacious room with a big, very comfortable bed and such...
