I stay there whenever I can when I go to New England. It is clean, peaceful in the fall when I go. It is very comfortable and the sliding doors and porch make it extra special. I love the house as well. A great place to get away!!

The hotel called me today to tell me they have sold and would need to move my reservation to a week later or cancel. They offered no alternative place for us to stay and when I asked if they were going to pay for the plane fare to be changed they said no. I also asked about the one night...

Went here with my family for a few days. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The pool, although shallow, was perfect for our kids. The outdoor grill was of great use. The walk to Good Harbor Beach was a little long, but you can take the trolley to save time. Make sure to reserve the bikes and...

I absolutely love this place! My boyfriend brought me back for a second time this fall for my birthday. The people are sooo kind and welcoming. There is always warm cider, a delicious assortment of tea, and coffee. Plus, fresh apples and amazing homemade chocolate chip cookies! They are always out? Any time of day or night! There is also...

Bass Rocks Ocean Inn is perfectly located, across the quiet road from the ocean. Be sure to request an end room, either upstairs or down, for a tad more privacy, but I believe every room has a perfect view of the water. Breakfast is lovely, with a variety of choices. Tea & coffee are served all day. I am happy...

The room was a good size and well appointed but this was eclipsed by the stunning view from the balcony which every room on the upper level has. If you are at ground level you have a patio which we felt might be less private. The main house where a delicious breakfast is served also has the view. The staff...

My room had a wonderful view with 2 views of the ocean. I could watch the sunrise from bed through the large front window. There was also a sliding door with a view of the lighthouses. The room was clean. The reception area has a nice dining room and library.

This is a nice hotel with a gorgeous view. All rooms are direct ocean front, and all have a furnished balcony or patio, where you can sit out and relax while you watch the ocean. Like all of Gloucester, the coastline is rocky, not beachy, but the water is beautiful and only about 50 feet from your door. While the...

Most excellent stay. Breathtaking location, warm friendly staff, so much to do. Surrounding area loaded with history. A trip to Salem, Mass a must. Lots of arts and crafts, boat tours, delicious seafood, great walking paths. A very doable ride from North Jersey. Worth every penny.

We booked this last minute and everyone was wonderful. We got to the room easily and were in complete awe of our room. Quiet and relaxing getaway for an over night stop along our journey. The bed was super comfy as well!
