Hello, we also stayed at a time when a soccer game was at the stadium. We were able to park in a handicapped spot but it wasn't easy to even get that! We were also told that there was no charge for parking when we booked but they have had to charge people who want to park at the hotel and just go to the game. I would contact the manager and ask to be reimbursed for your parking fee. We stayed at this hotel at another time when there was no event and had no problem or charge for parking.
