Being from the mid-west where July can be unbearable - we so love spending a week with our friends at The Tides of Falmouth. Mild weather and ocean breezes - doesn't get any better. This year we added two other couples to our group - I think they are hooked!

Every year my husband and I spend a weekend at one of our favorite places - The Tides Motel. The location is just perfect- you are literally on the beach. The rooms are spotless, the view is breathtaking and the staff makes you feel like you are family. I can't wait to go back again next year.

Just back from a stay here. I was lucky enough to run this past Falmouth Road race and decided to make a weekend getaway out of it. The location of this hotel is amazing (right near the finish for runners) it is right between the harbour and the beach so no matter what side of the Motel your room is...

Just came back from a wonderful stay. The reviews tell it all. We were on the second floor and the view is just as nice. The first floor gives a person the privilege to step right out on the beach. There is no air-conditioning nor telephones in the rooms. No need for A/C since the cross ventilation between the front...

Clean comfortable rooms, the one I rented had a micro-wave, refrigerator and coffee pot. View was fabulous. Easy walk to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. They just had sand trucked in for their private beach which was wonderful. Amazing views as it is right next to the entrance into the harbor so we sat and watched boats going in...

The rooms are clean and they recently upgraded the refrigerators which was great. We were comfortable but be aware there is no air conditioning so it could be hot during the heat of summer (I believe they provide a fan if requested). Bring your own shampoo ( none provided). Wi - fi is available but you need to be near...

Thank you for your review. We appreciate all feedback. We offer free WiFi and it does work in most rooms. Some of our rooms have brick walls which may slow down transmission. Not much we can do about that. We are limited to DSL service in this area which can be slower than broadband or Fios. All of our second...

My family and I spent an early June weekend visiting Falmouth and Martha's Vineyard and stayed at the Tides Motel. We were all thoroughly charmed by the place and are definitely considering a return visit. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the water. It's at the head of the Falmouth Harbor and is right next...

My Mom and I stayed at the Tides Motel in May (2014) just before the tourist season officially started. The rooms were recently renovated and done very nicely - very clean. We had a 2-burner stove, sink and small refrigerator and had breakfast in the room each day. The grounds are well kept and the staff was courteous. At the...

My hubby and I have been vacationing in Falmouth since we met 20 years ago. We've stayed at some fancy, schmancy B&B's, some not so fancy hotels and motels, but we *ALWAYS* come back to the fabulous Tides. I don't think there is a spot in Falmouth with better views than this motel, nor is there a spic n' span...

The best bang for your buck on the Cape. Clean comfortable rooms (some with kitchenettes). Directly on the beach. Get up in the morning, grab a coffee and watch the "Island Queen go by on the way to Martha's Vineyard. Walk around the harbor and see multimillion dollar yachts as they pull up to the dock. Or just sit on...
