We arrived at lunch time and were pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the staff was. The hotel is amazing with the best views one can imagine. The room was very spacious and clean. Our view from room 01 was directly looking at the ocean (see photos). At the reception Edison was extremely helpful in booking us for a...

Having travelled all over the Dominican and seen many different hotels, this place is Dominican style eco lodge. Meaning an attempt to give a sense of safari style luxury resort. It however lacks authenticity and true hospitality. The staff are not friendly in a genuine way nor have the training of a true 5 star resort. By charging 300+ USD...

Spent 5 days at this terrific place. Totally relaxing and beautiful. The beach, pool and the dock super (although some parts of day the water only goes to your knees - you can walk forever...). Food is excellent as well as the service. Special thanks to Ignacio - he is the real star of this place! Enormous menu for such...

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night and we wished we had stayed longer. It was so quite, there weren't many tourists. We basically had the place all to ourselves. It was wonderful and amazing. Great staff and boat ride to Cayo Arena. I would highly recommend this place and come back.

Five glorious, sun-filled days in isolated Punta Rucia. If you cannot bear overdeveloped Punta Cana and are looking for shell-covered beach, shore birds, unspoiled dunes, privacy, and service that is not aggressive, this is for you. The owner and staff were generous, kind and friendly. The location is beautiful, the room is perfectly clean, bathroom is spotless and modern, and...

My family and I are currently enjoying a 2-day vacation at Punta Rucia Lodge. Words cannot describe the place and its surroundings, or the attention we have been showered with, by their staff. The food is beyond delicious (dinner and breakfast a la carte, for an additional US$35). Our children, 11 and 5 years old, are having a blast, enjoying...

This area of the north coast, close to Montecristi, is not part of the development plan of the local government, but private entrepreneurs are making an effort to develop tourism in the area. One of them is Punta Rucia Lodge. They have a property with individual cabins in concrete with cana roofs very nice designed and located with a private...
