My husband and I recently visited Martha's Vineyard for the first time, and our stay at the Edgartown Inn turned out to be the perfect lodging decision. This historical home is beautiful and clean and is clearly a labor of love for its manager, Sandi. It is in a great location within walking distance of everything - the harbor, the...

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 17 May 2016 via mobile

Edgartown Inn was very clean and quiet. Sandy is great!! We had great weather so a cup of coffee on the front porch was a perfect way to start the day. Would have loved a couple of protein options for breakfast, but I also enjoyed finding the local breakfast spots too.

Thanks so much for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay so much and I hope to see you both again one day! I'm sorry you didn't try our home-made bread for toast and home-made coffee-cake. They are usually a big hit even with non-carb people! We also serve Organic Greek yoghurt, fruit, cereals and juice! Maybe next time!!...

We found ourselves without a room due to a scheduling snafu, so the innkeeper where we were supposed to stay contacted Sandy at the Edgartown. She had one room open which is nothing short of a miracle on MV. The Inn is a wonderfully preserved old building and stays true to period wherever possible. The bed was SO comfy! Be...

The Edgartown Inn clearly respects the preservation of its historical roots and we are glad they do! The inn is immaculate, the welcome is warm and always friendly. This is truly our home away from home. Sandi, the innkeeper is wonderful and a superb representative of her profession. The continental breakfast offers many choices including warm, homemade coffee cake and...

I first had the pleasure of staying at The Edgartown Inn in 2012. I chose it originally because it had the best prices on the island by far! Everywhere else was easily double the price especially in high season. Considering the downtown Edgartown location, that's really quite remarkable. When I got there, I was overwhelmed by a country inn that...

The Edgartown Inn is located in a terrific location (down the street from the wedding we were attending that weekend) and the innkeeper was quite nice. However, our room was very "tired" especially for the money it cost. I realize we were in high season and in MV but the walls were bulging with buckling plaster and torn wallpaper. Also,...

Ouch! That hurt! Especially since when you were here you kept saying it wasn't a big deal. You said you understood old houses (ours being 225 years old) and it being the end of our busy season. I did address it by calling my plumber in and he did all he could at that time. Since the Inn was at...

Clean and well located, Edgartown Inn merits only a so-so from us because the breakfast service was mostly cold and totally skimpy. For two-fifty a night, we wanted more than cold cereal and a two bites of coffee cake. Better value in a chain business hotel.
