We wanted a small ceremony for our wedding and the Deerfield Inn was amazing. They were very attentive and accommodating. Everything was taken care of for us, from the details of the flowers to the wedding cake. We are already planning a return trip.

We have always loved visiting the Deerfield Inn and historic Deerfield. It is such a great place to stay. The restaurant is so much more beautiful and friendly since the remodel. We can't wait to visit again.

I am fortunate to be able to stay at the Inn fairly regularly. It is exactly what you would expect from a New England B & B.(in a good way) The staff is always courteous and helpful. The restaurant is convenient and the food is well prepared and tasty. The ginger martini is a must.

The bed was so comfortable for a great night's sleep. Loved the room decor. Took in the afternoon tea and cookies while sitting in front of the fire. The cost was more than I typically spend but my friend and I decided to splurge and we truely loved the experience.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Deerfield Inn. The rooms are great and are really charming. The restaurant and tavern, Champney's, reminds me of the bar in the tv show Cheers--friendly wait staff with familiar faces.

We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at the Inn. Yes the bar has become a favorite with the locals, I haven't seen Cliff here in awhile! I hope he is OK.

A visit to the Inn does not disappoint one who seeks to step back in time in a Revolutionary War era village. While the principal reason for our visit was to visit the school, our stay was enhanced by the experience at the Deerfield Inn.

The village does give that feel of a time gone by. Patriots Day Muster and parade tomorrow. Looking forward to it. Maybe one day visit on the same weekend. Its an experience not to be missed

Everything about the place is suburb. Staff were accommodating and friendly. The room was large, clean, and the bed was heavenly comfort. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful. The food is grown locally, and was delicious.

We stayed here for a revisit day at Deerfield. So convenient and had a pleasant stay. We stayed in a suite and had a cot for my child, lots of space and bathroom had double shower. Modern conveniences meet old world charm that is in keeping with the historic atmosphere of the area.

As always, our stay was wonderful! I love the way you have decorated the rooms, the beds are so comfortable and I think it's so quiet and lovely. The food is excellent - the breakfasts are outstanding! We'll be back to stay overnight on Easter Sunday, Don't change a thing! It's perfect. Anne Dawson

Anne I hope that you did have chance to visit on Easter Sunday. The weather was beautiful, 84 degrees and sunny. Time stands still in Deerfield so I'm sure things will be the same.

Quiet. So nice having a comfortable room, ability to walk down for great dinners. Then being able to walk across the street to programs of Historic Deerfield. All staff were helpful. Great location. Will return.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Deerfield Inn first opened in July 1884 while both a drought and grasshoppers were plaguing the village. The disasters went, but the guests stayed for "the atmosphere and charm of early days, with modern comfort and convenience" with breakfast starting at 30¢ and a room with running water from $1.50. Today we have 24 comfortable and pleasing guestrooms and farm-to-fork Champney's Restaurant & Tavern. We source locally, make our own infusions, support area microbrewers, and in our 131st year we remain the centerpiece of Old Deerfield, a National Historic Landmark, and a Select Registry Property. ... more   less
